This product came as advertised with easy to read instructions. It took longer to find the breaker to turn off the power to the doorbell than it did to Install. Instructions are easy to follow through step by step prompts on your phone. Install took less than 6 minutes and all required parts were in the box. FYI: to save hassle and frustration. When the power goes out you will have to reconnect this doorbell. Go to the wyze app, do not delete the doorbell. Add this device back the same way that you originally set it up. Hopefully this saves you some time on troubleshooting and reading forums. Would buy again. Other than the power outage it works great, sends motion notifications to my phone, and the chime is audible enough to be heard throughout the house. Good buy. ... show more

I bought this for watching our front door because we live in a relatively sketchy area. Its easy to set up and has a good picture quality in both daylight and night time. I really like the wireless aspect of it since we rent our house and cannot hardwire anything.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my girlfriend and installed on her house. Great product and easy to install with great directions. I prefer Ring products but she wanted wyze so I got it. I have to say it has a superior camera compared to my particular model. Cons, did not like the mount hardware as it didn't give a very stable mount to her house so I modified it to make it work better. Overall a great product ... show more

I currently have the Waze door bell pro, and it works well, it connects with no real issues, at times the app freeze. This door bell record seconds be and after. I think Waze pro door bell worth it for budget friendly options. Also has good fish eye lens to see all around. It is a easy installation. Pros: Affordable, good lens, decent microphone. Free to use, but limited. Cons: Plastic mounting kit, no SD, laggy notifications, don't get full length records unless subscribe, blue ring light always one. Imagine quality is okay. The media could not be loaded. Price was comparable if not cheaper. Great sound and video. Catches a lot, so adjusting sensitivity is great. I just recharged it for the first time since basically first of January. Lived well thru below freezing temps. I already had a Wyze camera indoors that works well so I kept the same brand. Video attached of putting it back in after charging. The only con is sometimes the package deliveries are so quick that you only get the package on the porch. I've actually gone through two units because I was sure the first one was defective. Nope. Claims to work on both 2.4g and 5g WiFi frequencies. The problems I have experienced on the 2.4g frequency are more than doubled on the 5g frequency. It also seems to not like other devices such as phones and tablets on the same frequency. Turning airplane mode on my phone on and off would cause it to malfunction. Doorbell, chime box, and router need to be within 30 feet of each other for best results. Mine are about 6 feet from each other and all of these issues are persistent. I've even tested having all three in the same room with the same results. Several times a week (sometimes daily) the system will drop connection, stop recording and uploading, stop sending notifications, and will not reconnect unless I restart the chime box or the router. The doorbell WILL work on the chime box regardless, so that connection doesn't seem to be the problem, but several times a week it turns into just an overpriced remote doorbell with no other functionality. When it DOES work, it doesn't work great. I've quadruple checked all my settings and have tested different detection settings, detection zones, detection sensitivity and the results are not very different. In various combinations of settings, this thing will record and upload people walking across the street, but will occasionally ignore the mailman, and ignore even me entering and leaving. So who knows what else it doesn't upload. 6 month battery life? LOL!!! 3 weeks, max. Again, I've gone thru 2 units with the same results. I've even gone so far as to have the cable company swap my router, thankfully that didn't cost me anything. By the way, you can't switch the network on these things without deleting them from your profile and reconfiguring as a new camera. To top it all off, the doorbell itself also emits a chime when pressed, rather loud, and there's no way to shut that off. The Wyze OG cam I have in the backyard works perfectly, though.
