This is a great cleaning machine for your pool! Wybot’s Osprey 300 pro is a good choice for efficiency and price point! It does a great job of cleaning our 20000 gallon in-ground pool that has an incline from a depth of 6ft . At first I was nervous that it would not handle the incline, or the protection drain, but it’s literally like having an RC car without the controls. It’s a smart little powerful bot! It takes six hours to charge, it’s easy to set up, gives a full two hours runtime in the pool (when fully charged each time). Very easy to retrieve with a skim net pole to grab the floating ring connected to it, and super easy (and fast) to clean. Not sure how many charge cycles the battery has but manufacturer say it’s long lasting. It’s a great product so far and very happy how it collects debris such as small leaves, sand, grass, and pine seeds off the pool floor. Highly recommend this product! ... show more

    • Quit working within a month!
Update 9/12/2023: I am changing my star rating to 4 stars because of the outstanding customer service. After my first WYBOT quit working and I purchased a different one to replace it, the company reached out to me and gave me a $40 refund for the time and trouble of the first robot failure. I was very pleased with this because it made me feel the company was concerned with providing a quality product. The WYBOT 2023 continues to to a great job as of this writing. I'll post an update in the future to say if it has continued to preform. At this point I would recommend giving a Wybot robotic pool vacuum a try. Update: I purchased a WYBOT 2023 to replace the WYBOT Osprey when it quit working. The 2023 is working very well in my above ground pool. It cleans well and is pretty easy to manage when removing from the pool (the WYBOT Osprey 300 was very heavy). I have only used it twice at this point so I hope it keeps working and cleaning this well for a long time to come. This is the second robot pool vacuum I have tried. The first was the Aiper Segull SE. It cleaned well when it moved around the pool but the small wheels enabled it to get stuck easily. The WYBOT did not get stuck. It had good suction. It moved very quickly around the bottom of the pool so fast it didn't pick up everything but it did an OK job. It was very heavy to lift out of the pool when it was full of water. I would have kept this robot but it quit working after 3 weeks. I called and was told it was either the charger or the battery. I decided to return it since I'm not so sure another one would last any longer. ... show more

This is my first robotic cleaner. I was very pleased with how well it worked. I keep my pool very clean, so I am not saying this thing is going to clean a filthy pool, but for a few scattered leaves and small particles, this thing worked great! I'm not saying it won't clean a filthy pool- I just don't have one so I don't know. The run time was about 2 hours. I watched it long enough to see that the default pattern it was running would likely cover my entire pool. I have a 15X30 flat bottom above ground. It moves pretty fast, so in 2 hours it probably covers the entire pool several times. When it was finished, it did park beside a wall, as advertised. The unit collected quite a bit of debris, but it was nowhere near full, so it could have picked up lots more if there had been more to pick up. Cleaning was very easy. There was no visible debris left in my pool. It seems well built. Hopefully it will last a few years. Based on initial performance, I would recommend it. ... show more

    • Very good pool sweeper with one (solvable) problem

This little unit gets very busy and does quite a good job of sweeping a fairly large in-ground pool. It has lots of power and has no trouble coming back to the shallow end from the 8' deep end. Sometimes it tries to climb the walls and is pretty persistent. The suction is very strong. Runs for about 2 hours on a charge, sometimes a bit longer and if you use it every other day it'll keep the pool clean. It does not always get into all the corners, though, so a manual sweeper or brush once in a while helps. The one problem is that it stopped working after about 5 months. We discovered the problem: One of the metal prongs used to plug in the charger had broken off. (See picture.) I contacted Wybot product support and they sent me a new motor and a video of how to install it, which was quite easy, so now it works. But for how long? I think I've figured out what the problem was: When I pull the unit out of the water, there is some moisture around the prongs that I hadn't noticed before. I'm guessing that if I connect the plug while the prongs are wet, this creates an electric charge that corrodes the prongs. I now no longer plug the unit in right after taking it out of the water. Instead, I leave it out for a few hours until I can see the prongs are dry. I'm hoping this will avoid the problem from recurring. I do wish they would say something about it in the instructions but I didn't see anything like that. So I do recommend this sweeper, but if you buy it, I suggest you make sure the metal prongs are dry before you connect it to the charging unit. ... show more

    • Better than my old wired cleaner
I was hesitant to purchase a USB charged cleaner. I'm glad I did. I have owned my above ground pool for 16 years and It does the best job I have seen after owning several pool cleaners. While it doesn't get all the pine straw and leaves my 30 trees drop into my pool, it does it's best in tackling this debris. The rigid screen and area where it collects the debris is easy to clean. My concern about the USB charging was non-founded. My old wired cleaner needed to be attached to a power supply. I was always concerned about this power supply being exposed to the elements and went through many home grown remedies to protect it. I had to replace the power supply several times. With this cleaner, it is lightweight and I just bring it inside and plug it up. It charges quickly is is ready to go the next day. ... show more

    • Love this little fella!
This is a great little robot vacuum that really does the job. Long lasting battery, the only downside being the recharge time. You put it in your pool and it zips around sucking up debris. Will be helpful during power loss. At least for the several hours it runs…
