Has mixed reviews but I took the chance at the 449 sales price. I have only had it a month cleaning my 16x30 gunite pool, but it has done a fantastic job so far. My neighbor has a dolphin nautilus cc that was like $1,000 and it having the motor replaced after only a year and a half. I figured if they are going to go out that soon, might as well try the cheaper one first. I have been impresses. It hasn't gotten stuck on drains, steps, tanning ledge, or anything else. It cleans the waterline and then goes to the corner of the pool when the battery gets low, around the 2 to 2.5 hour mark. Good buy so far. ... show more

    • Good replacement for my worn out aquabot cleaner
I really like the cordless feature as my Aquabot kept twisting the power cord up so it only completed the area closest to the power supply. This unit does not have that issue. You put this into the pool holding onto it while you turn it on rotate some to release trapped air then let go and let it sink to the bottom. It waits about 30 to 45 seconds then takes off. It runs one length then comes back half that distance and goes across 90 degrees from its original line until it starts to climb the wall then comes back on the same line to complete than measurement. It then proceeds to work its way around bottom and sides slightly varying the angle and scrubbing the tile line on the top edge of the pool. It has good suction and picks most of the sand, leaves, pine needles, dead insects and other junk on the bottom. It’s filter basket is very easy to dump in my garbage can then spray it out. Does not filter as fine as my aquabot with the cloth bag, but is so much easier to clean out the mesh basket I will let my filters pick out that rally fine particle stuff like algae. Takes about 5 to 5 1/2 hour to charge and I am getting 110 to 120 minutes cleaning on a charge. It drives to the bottom of a wall on the pool before shutting off when the battery is getting low and then you just slide the included hook onto you pole you use for your brush or skimmer net and hook the handle to raise and remove from pool, clean out the filter basket and rinse off sand and you are good to charge for next use.     • Not recommended for a kidney shaped diving pool
My barracuda wore out after 4 years and I was looking for a product that wasn't connected to a hose. I researched a lot of robotic pool vacuums and this one have good reviews and the information confirmed it would work with the specs of my pool. The wall climbing was impressive and the time scrubbing. The problem was that it couldn't clean the entire pool on a full charge. It also always stopped in the deep end, which made it challenging to remove. Cleaning the collection basket was a pain in the butt! There a very small gap that would collect leaves and it was very difficult to remove them. The fall was too small to get your fingers in to remove them and very awkward to spray it out with a high power hose. I ended up returning the vacuum because it was ineffective and hard to clean. Also the unit is very difficult to open to clean. Definitely a nail breaking latch. ... show more

My old pool cleaner just wasn't doing an good job anymore so I started to look for a replacement. I was tired of messing with hoses so I knew a cordless option is what I wanted. After a bit of research I landed on the WYBOT. My only real concern from reading the views was its ability to traverse inclines. My pool goes from 3ft to 6ft. I did find another review where it said the WYBOT was able to climb their incline. So I pulled the trigger. It also helped it was on sale. After two cleaning I'm very happy with the product. This thing picks up just about everything. My pool isn't square but its still able to maneuver around and get the pool nice and clean. Since we are about to close the pool down, I might update this review after a full pool season. So far, I think this little robot is great!! ... show more

Did a lot of research before plunging into a robotic pool vacuum. Heard and read a lot about the dolphin brand, however, it was very expensive, so we kept researching. This WYBOT osprey is outstanding! It is easy to use, and easily cleans the waterline. It does not clean the sun shelf or steps, but that’s not a problem. Each time we run it I just brush off the shelf and steps and all is good. Once a week or so we vacuum the shelf and steps the pool vac. It comes with a 30 day guarantee so if you don’t like it, you can send it back. We’ve been running out for three weeks now and are completely thrilled with it. I was fortunate to get this on the lightning deal, but would’ve gladly paid the regular Amazon price for it because it was still half the price of a dolphin. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We’ve invested in vacuums, nets, and a skimmer but this has literally changed our life. Our morning ritual of cleaning the pool used to take us a while vacuuming and using nets to remove leaves, bugs, etc., but now we just put this little guy in. Not only does it clean the bottom of the pool but it climbs the sides and scrubs it! It even cleans the steps. This invention is brilliant! The charge lasts 2-3 hours at a time and cleans the pool better than the pool company that comes bi-weekly. When it’s finished, it parks itself close to the wall so it’s easy to retrieve. It’s also very entertaining and fun to watch. I did not get a discount or any deal on this product. I was looking for a machine to clean the pool and chose this one. Our pool has never been cleaner! I purchased this vacuum after our wired one quit working. I thought it would be nice to have a chargeable, wireless version since the cord always seemed to tangle up on our other one. I do like the vacuum and it works exactly as stated. It does a great job picking up both small and large debris and it is able to climb and scrub the walls of our above ground pool. I didn’t realize I would only get one use per charge and it takes several hours to charge the battery so, you can’t just pop it in and out of the pool like our old wired one. Overall, I am happy with the purchase but will most likely purchase another wired version when this one no longer works. I like the on-demand availability of a wired one better. ... show more
