I finally did it. I bought Wunderbrow. Let me tell you, it has been a journey with my eyebrows and eyebrow products so I figured...it’s time to see what all the hoopla is about. This may be a long review because I have a lot to say about this product and the things that I’ve learned while using, so please bear with me. First off, I purchased in the Brunette shade even though I have a multi-tonal blonde balayage because I do know from reviews that Wunderbrow runs lighter than you think, and I can say that I completely agree. Brunette is pretty much the perfect color for me as it is more taupe when dry. Secondly, if you purchase Wunderbrow, I HIGHLY suggest watching a number of YouTube tutorials because it IS a product that can be difficult to work with and requires patience and definitely has a learning curve. If you think this is going to be a “throw it on and it’s perfect” product, unfortunately you’ve got another thing comin’. This aside, I DO love the outcome that Wunderbrow provides. Is it perfect? No. Is it worth it? For me, it is. Okay, so Wunderbrow is an extremely wet and liquid-y product. It has taken me several applications to get down the best application method because when it’s very wet and liquid-like, it does not adhere to the skin which poses a problem for outlining the brow as the first step. Naturally, you want to use an angled brow brush to apply this and not the spoolie that it comes with (which is basically a disposable spoolie you’d see at Ulta or something), so if you don’t have an angled brush I recommend purchasing one beforehand or along with this product. The applicator in the tube is a brush (much like a lip gloss brush) which you do NOT want to use directly on your brows. Doing so will apply way too much product that you’ll end up struggling to work through your brow before it dries (because once it starts drying, it and your brows are stuck where they are) and you run the risk of looking like a cartoon character. The best way that I have found to use Wunderbrow is by using a surface, much like a paint palette, to work off of. Personally, I use the top of a cream blush compact because it’s a flat, untextured surface. I don’t recommend your hand because it’s messy and will stain. So to start I get some product onto my working surface by using the brush applicator and just getting a nice little dollop on. After brushing out my brows with a spoolie, I go in with an angled brush (I use the Anastasia dual ended brush for all of this) pick up product and dab off excess on the same surface, much like you would when painting. I start by applying directly to the brow hairs instead of trying to define my brow (that comes later) with small hairlike strokes and using a spoolie to brush out the hair again before going back in with more product from my surface. I do this about 3-4 times to build up the color and by this point the product on my working surface has started to dry down which is when you want to go in and start defining the shape of the brow and using your spoolie as needed. Letting it dry down a bit allows it to become thicker in consistency and is when Wunderbrow does indeed apply and stick to the skin. This is definitely a product where you need to go in with a concealer to clean everything up using a different brush to make your brows more defined and have cleaner edges. This product does wear like a champion and through a night of dancing or a day of hiking it will not budge, fade, or smear. Wunderbrow does not come off with water, but it does come off with makeup remover or cleanser, which I use every single night if I have been wearing any makeup. So, the whole “lasts a few days” thing is really lost for me. If you use any makeup remover whatsoever, this stuff will come right off and will not last days. My final thoughts on Wunderbrow is that it does not take less time to use whatsoever, it is not a product I use daily but for instances where I need to make sure my brows are locked in for the day/night, this is now my go-to for those purposes. When I use Wunderbrow I really love the results and how perfect it can make my brows look. Is it the most natural looking? Not at all, which is why I typically prefer it if I’m going out to a show or a club. I do find that it wears better and keeps the brow hairs in place better than Anastasia’s Dipbrow and brow gel. Wunderbrow is definitely a solid product and I definitely will be using it when I need to/have the time to. It’s not a perfect product and like I said, requires some patience and technique in perfecting application, but overall I find it to be one of the best brow products I have ever purchased for creating a bold, sharp brow look that lasts through sweat, humidity and withstands my bangs until I take it off. I'm always looking for something that doesn't look like I have makeup on. This product makes for more natural looking eyebrows than many other products I've used. I have a hard time getting the product to stick in certain areas. I am using it with a clean face. I end up putting on too much trying to get it to stick to one area and it doesn't look as good. Other than that I am happy with my purchase and I believe it was worth the money. It should last me a while.

Some of my eyebrows have turned white/grey, and looked patchy. I have tried various pencils and other products, which either required greater skill than I had, or looked too artificial or too dark. But even with my overall lack of skill and my eyesight problems, this product was a breeze to use. Also it did not smudge or wear away. For me, with somewhat oily skin, it lasted properly for 2 days -even after showering. I used dark brown, thought my brows are actually black, and the dark brown looked more natural that if I had used black.

1st day- I'm think I'm a sort of a pro at doing my eyebrows, so when I heard about wonderbro2 it was a makeup phenomenon to me who wouldn't want their eyebrows to last for three days! I ordered the black/ brown color and as soon as I received the Wonderbrow2 in the mail I tried it on When I opened the box I was quite terrified at first because reading reviews made me very sketchy of the product. I'm a black/ hispanic woman so I didn't know what to think. Many reviews from women of color especially African-American women have suggested that the clay doesn't look natural on their skin, some reported that their eyebrows looked gray, and that the product company makes their colors to light. Well, let me tell you from my experience, that is not my opinion. The tube bottle was the first thing I looked at . I took a picture ( first, second and last picture) of the color to show what I received. Like I said I don't have a problem with the color because to me my brows still came out natural looking. Noticing the color I was actually suprised it looked black/brown like the color I ordered, I didn't really find the product to have much gray in it . I took a picture of the gel with flash and no flash just to demonstrate what color I got. It maybe took me about 4 or 5 minutes to fill in and define my eyebrows. I thought they looked weird at first but if you take your time and wait for the product to dry a little and then blend your hairs with the product you come out with a flawless finish. If I made a tiny mistake I would use a q-tip and remove excess with eye makeup remover-oil based... and it comes right off. If you see in the third picture, that was my finish. When I go into Sephora they usually say I'm medium skin tone, with neutral undetones- which for those who don't know it's like a mix of yellow and red undertones. I think I'm more of a caramel toffee color but every women of color curious my eyebrows came out fine. 2nd day- The wonderbrow worked it's magic through the night, might I add I'm a heavy sleeper and I twist and turn a lot in my sleep so I was surprised. If you see the fourth, fifth, and sixth picture I believe that was the second day. I went out and they stayed on. I cleaned my face with soap and cleanser but I stayed away from my eyebrows because I thought they wouldn't stay. I took a shower, tested the product by slashing my face with water, and I didn't see anything leave my brows and nothing on my hands! I even scratched my eyebrows one point because I forgot I even had on Wonderbrow and was so nervous, but then I looked in the mirror and my eyebrows were in tact. I really like the product. 3rd Day- I didn't get a chance to take a picture of how my eyebrows looked the third day because they didn't look the same. I blame my restless sleep, as I stated before I'm a very heavy and very restless sleeper; I'm usually all over the place. Some parts were patchy, I just washed my entire face and scrubbed my eyebrows using my eye remover. I re-did my eyebrows and as you see in the second to last pic I think I did a better job. Just wanted to help out some of you guys if you are curious but are too scared to buy. I personal like the Wonderbrow2. I think it's a steal on Amazon. I give it four stars because it's affordable, works, and it's useful. Although it doesn't stay on for three days as expected it stayed on for two days so I'm happy with that. I have oily skin so to see that the product still stayed on that was amazing. For anyone wondering if it's worth it, if you take your time and use a angle precision brush and make small feather like strokes as you fill in patchy spots and fill in your brow. Hope this helps someone out.
