I am a slender built male, 180 pounds 6' tall with a 38" waist and order a XXL which fits perfectly. I had ordered an XL but it was tight in the shoulders and sleeves. The coat is very nice and appears well made except for the zipper. It is a small size, about what you get on a pair of trousers. I imagine it might last a season and will have to be replaced with a wide tooth zipper. It is a little difficult to zipper up. The inside seam around the waist has a band of elastic which brings the jacket tighter to the waist. It does have a buttons which can loosen the waist. The Velcro tabs are great, better than buttons. But that zipper is junk! It arrived folded up and I am trying to figuring out how to get rid of all the wrinkles, Iron??? UPDATE: How stupid am I, just used the steam iron on the jacket and it got out the wrinkles!!! ... show more

While laying on my back and raising my arms above my head i feel the armpit area fabric tighten. This worries me that it will rip in do time. Arm length is almost perfect maybe slightly short by a half an inch or a full one. Should have bought the large to fix these issues. -Other than that coat is warm a.f. -Water repellent probably will go aeay with a wash or two. - durable, brushed up against a 53 ft trailer at work with sharp siding from scuff damage and i thought it ripped by the sound but it didnt even puncture the coat. It was a slight tug too, thought for sure a rip.. nope haha. ... show more

First off, I havent used/worn it out on the mountain yet! But I just received it & it seems pretty legit & warm. It fits as it says. Im about 5'7" 170 lbs with a fairly muscular build & tend to wear medium tops. The fit is great as is (I ordered a medium)!....... However, I might order a size up if you want to layer. But it does seem pretty warm as is & could probably get away with the jacket alone or with 1 layer on a relatively cold day (again I havent used it in snow yet). I would recommend!....... & a great price! ... show more

I read through the reviews first, some said it smelled strong, this one didn't. I literally ordered it about two days ago, and is already here, great packaging, red is my favorite color, and is beautiful! I'm 5'5 and about 195 pound, got a medium. It looks super warm, even the hoodie looks warm. It has two pockets inside, and 3 outside. Can't say that is waterproof yet, but it looks like it should be. Overall super happy with everything. Amazing price too!! My whole family needs one of these. Get it! ... show more

The coat seems very well made, zip close pockets, inside pocket is very convenient. The back elastic to keep out snow and wind is a bonus. Warm but not bulky. Bought xxl for my 6’ 3” 200 lb son. It fits him well but I wish it was just a bit roomier.
