I'll get straight to the point because I don't want to give any details or information away. The game starts off a little bit slow because you're kind of just dropped in there with amnesia. But you slowly regain your memory, but the vast majority of the game. You're just trying to figure out what the feathering infestation is inside the game. Which you have been infected but for some reason your independent. You can technically get infected with the madness and remove it. But when you're in control you can walk around like normal. Sound design is pretty good. It's very atmospheric. The only tracks that have music is when you're fighting a boss and the music is very detailed, goes perfectly and rhythm with the boss style. But for everything else it's mostly atmospheric which is great because it pulls you in. It makes you feel like there's a dark atmosphere, Moody depending on the location, upbeat if you're just exploring and you get the idea. It's basically similar to a sold like game but different. Of course. You have a stamina bar. You can't just spam a attack removesmovrs, you can't heal yourself rapidly because you have to either get out of the way or heal yourself when the enemy's not attacking. Basically you have to focus on doing things correctly because there's an animation, even an animation for switching weapons or spells. Story wise, it's pretty good. You'll get hooked if you're a fan of black myth wukong. A lot of weapon variety, moves and skills. And the typical souls like stuff, weapon break, poise break, magic and you get the idea. It does encourage you to explore. Currently, I've defeated at least four major bosses and random minor bosses and really liking the game so far. I was surprised because I couldn't get started when I purchased the game until I sat down, took it seriously and then hooked me in. ... show more

Excellent release, she looks great, super fun, good story, graphics, design. Can’t go wrong! I found it hard but I hear if I can master the Parry system it gets easier. One day I will beat this. Again it’s worth the game looks stunning, I rank it Stellar (Blade). Engaging game

I've been playing souls games since Demon's Souls on PS3. This game is a soulslike but it feels a bit closer to Lies of P in terms of gameplay and quest lines. It uses a level up system similar to Enotria the Last Song. The outfits range from traditional, to yokai like, to full thirst trap. It lets you wear one armour while letting it look like another. Instead on upgrading individual weapons, you upgrade weapon classes. You can respec your skills at any shrine (this games version of bonfires). Using your healing item can be difficult since it feels as slow as the one in Dark Souls 2. The bosses can be extremely cheap at times and sometimes take 80 percent of your health or more. It took me about 33 hours to beat it with a bit a farming involved. There are certainly some surprises the game introduces that are better unknown until you come across them. If you are looking for a tough soulslike with plenty to look at, then this game is certainly worth playing. ... show more

Only souls games I’ve played are sekiro (got halfway through) and nioh 2 (got a quarter through) and I figured souls games weren’t for me. This game I like much much better. It’s forgiving enough that really anyone who games can play it and it’s still difficult enough that hardcore fans will love it. The open map design makes it so you can sort of do your own thing and level up and choose your own difficulty in that sense. But a big WARNING: this game is extremely addictive.
