My daughter is an acupuncturist and I told her the prescription lidocaine patches weren’t working for me. She gave me some of these and they really work for me. I have degenerative discs in my neck causing terrible nerve pain. These really help. They adhere very strongly so if you have sensitive skin be careful removing, maybe soak them off in the shower. I wouldn’t recommend for elderly skin that tears easily.

Ok, I have been using these medicated plasters for 10+ years. Nothing I’ve ever tried has been even close to as good. So when they updated the patches I was very skeptical and honestly pretty upset about it. But I was wrong. After trying them out for a few weeks I am happy to say that I love the new version. The new patches have the same smell but are smaller and thinner. The smaller size is helpful because I did cut the old ones to size and now that’s a step I can skip. I reached out to the company and was told the quantity of herbs has been increased and I do think you can feel that change when wearing the patch. The new patches are as effective as before, possibly more. The best change, however, is the lack of residue after wearing the new patches. The only thing I think could be improved upon is the packaging. Resealable packs would be so nice. The old ones would dry out over time and my assumption is the new version might as well. Overall I give these patches and this product update an A+

The patches are a little bit of a challenge pulling them off the paper, for someone in pain these patches only take off the edge not a cure. They are better than some of the other products that I have tried.

I love these patches because they are much more "natural" than lidocane patches. The Wu Yangs have a very strong odor that I quickly got used to and is now almost soothing to me. Also, they REALLY adhere so you need to know exactly where you want it on your body. If you bend in a side or corner it is difficult if not impossible to correct without ruining the patch. You need to remove them after 7 or 8 hours or they are painful to remove. I do still use 4% lidocane patches when my pain is more severe but I don't use them with any regularity which is why I prefer the Wu Yangs and use them frequently.

This product burned my skin. I noticed one day that my skin was chapped and dry feeling, like a scab. I wasn’t sure what had happened but realized it was the exact same area I had put this product on. This photo is after a few days of healing so you can imagine how raw it was prior to scabbing over. You can even see how it scarred in lines that coincide with the shape of this product.

Beware these got good reviews (and they are along with price) BUT they are VERY difficult to apply b/c the adhesive adheres to the plasic they are cemented onto, then curls onto itself...big hassle to apply compared to other brand begins with S.
