I went out tonight and noticed one of the units was very dim and it was the one I just replaced a couple of weeks ago. The one on the right is the replacement and should be as bright as the one on the left but it is not. 9-23-2023 - Updating my review - The manufacturer reached out to me and replaced the units that had failed. I just finished installing them all and I'm looking forward to seeing how the new ones hold up. Thank you to the manufacturer for supporting your product. I'm am very happy with the light they produce at night. Earlier review- These lights are super bright and they stay on a long time at night but they don't last long in the southwest Florida sun. I've had the solar panels, very visibly, detach internally and are bubbling up underneath the surface. This has happened on nearly all of them. I've had one complete failure after a couple of months. The plastic coating over the solar panels only lasted 2 weeks before it cracked and peeled off. ... show more

These are sooo much brighter than my previous lights. We’ve had them for about a month and have had zero issues. The picture is from my security camera zoomed in. The 2 lights on the right are the lights I’m reviewing. The 3 Home Depot lights on the left (yes, there are really 3 lights on the left) are so dim you can barely make out the light output on the security cam. I’ll be buying more of these lights soon to replace them. Great value and they look good too. Battery life is good. There is drop off in the light output after 4-5 hours, but still decent output throughout the night where you can see the sidewalk. ... show more

    • They need full sun all day
Size: 4 Pack-200 Lumen
Amount of light emitted is nice. They are around the house and no matter where you are in the world you will not have sun all day. 50% of time they will be in shade. They stay at full brightness maybe 45 minutes to an hour after which they dim considerably. The ones that I have away from house do stay lit longer but not all night long as some claim. In reality these are junk and here is why. While they are bigger they also consume more power quickly so the capacity of the batteries means nothing if you cannot fully charge in full sun. So there is a balance between consumption, battery capacity and charge rate. These are good on paper but suck in real world application. I am not sure what hat they charge rate is from the solar panels but I am willing to bet it is very low. like maybe 30 milliamps per hour or less. That will give you about an hour of full light and another hour of wimpy light. Anyway… All this solar junk is a gimmick so i give uo trying to find something that works. I will eventually wire real lights in. ... show more
