My husband loves these shorts. He has had a transplant and is on medicine that makes his weight fluctuates. The waist band gives a small amount and very comfortable when his water weight is up. When weight is down feels comfortable with a belt. The denim is very nice and thick. The colors are true dark blue and light blue. The front pockets are very deep and my husband finds they are able to hold a great amount of things. He has car keys pocket knife very large cell phone. Wallet. The fabric in the legs was durable enough for a stretch fabric, and the waist is very comfortable. These fit me well but the legs are a little longer than I expected. Not a big deal for me, but if you're buying these you should be aware.
