These were purchased for my husband. He wears shorts (mostly denim) about 9 months out if the year. It was time to replace several pair. The price on his usual brands has increased significantly. I am very happy that I gave Wrangler a try. They are very high quality. The denim is a good weight. The seams are sturdy. They look , and fit, just like Levi's. They did not shrink in the dryer. They did not bleed dye in the washer. The waist band is elastic, sort of. There's a little stretch. Not enough to change size, just enough for comfort. I purchased 3 pairs. This will be my new go to , when buying shorts for my husband.

My husband loves these shorts. He has had a transplant and is on medicine that makes his weight fluctuates. The waist band gives a small amount and very comfortable when his water weight is up. When weight is down feels comfortable with a belt. The denim is very nice and thick. The colors are true dark blue and light blue. The front pockets are very deep and my husband finds they are able to hold a great amount of things. He has car keys pocket knife very large cell phone. Wallet. Not problem holding all the things and still had room. These do not look like they are stretchy so that is super nice.

The fabric in the legs was durable enough for a stretch fabric, and the waist is very comfortable. These fit me well but the legs are a little longer than I expected. Not a big deal for me, but if you're buying these you should be aware.
