Description

This 20V Axis Reciprocating/Jig Saw 2-in-1 gives you a whole lot of tool(s) for the money. There’s no need to buy a separate reciprocating saw and jigsaw when you have an Axis. Worx engineers figured out that those two saws actually employ a similar motion to get their different jobs done, and designed a way to put that functionality into one tool. So you get the raw power of a reciprocating saw (3000/min of no-load speed) to tear down structures, but then the head folds down into the base to give you more balance to make those intricate cutouts that only a jigsaw can perform. Plus, there’s no cord to get in your way, so you’re free to move. And at only 4.2 lbs, you can work long hours without getting hand and arm fatigue. The jigsaw is made to cut through wood (2” cutting capacity), PVC pipe (2”), and steel plate (5/32”). While the reciprocating saw also cuts wood and PVC pipe at 2”, but steel pipe at 2”, too. And they both have a ¾” stroke length. With a built-in dust blower, you’ll always see the shapes you’re cutting in jigsaw mode. And the safety lock-off switch prevents accidental starting. Get an innovative 20V Axis Reciprocating/Jig Saw 2-in-1 from Worx and get more done, with less strain on both your hands and your wallet.

  • Worx GREAT!
Style: Battery + Charger Not Included
This nifty little saw is just what I have needed. I wasn’t seeking it out, but went out on a limb when it was suggested. I have many trees to trim and cut down and this saw works great! The battery was way better than I anticipated (similar to using the Worx weed eater) I have used it probably on as big as 5-6 inch trunks. How well it cuts absolutely depends on the type of wood and the sharpness of your blade. I have been so pleased with my multiple Worx tools that I risked it. So glad I did. No need for cords, oils, fluids with this saw. It is fairly lightweight and easy to handle. Always wear eye protection! I put a longer pruning blade in it. Great value, so far good quality. Have used it several different work days at this point. ... show more

  • It's a Work Horse
Style: 20V Battery + Charger Included
I just bought another Worx product from Amazon and remembered that I hadn't left a review for this item which I bought six years ago. I had middling expectations, thinking it would come in handy for quick, light duty cutting jobs. And it is the perfect tool for those jobs. But I wouldn't have imagined how many times I have reached for this thing over the years, from making jigsaw cuts in the basement to building an arbor for our back yard or to cutting tree branches like it was a chain saw. You're not going to give it a steady diet of treated 2x4's or any 4x4's but for tons of jobs around the house, this is my go-to cutting tool. And I like that longer, heavy duty Sawzall blades fit in the blade holder to help this saw punch above its weight. This has been a super handy tool for me going on six years without a hiccup. ... show more

  • Great little saw
Style: 20V Battery + Charger Included
I have used it only a few times so will update the review if I come across anything else. First of all I am pretty pleased with the value products worx sells( I also bought their chain saw before this). When I first saw this product I was impressed . It doesn't look that difficult to come up with a convertible saw like this that serves two purpose and yet no other big brands wud do it . Worx deserves the credit for their creativity and bringing it out to the customers. I do own a electric jig saw and was planning to buy a raciprocating saw for occasional use. When I saw this I had no reason not to buy this . I used the raciprocating saw to trim some branches off of trees in my yard. I used the jig saw to try out as well doing some custom cuts on the laminate floor I was doing for my room. I am pleased with the result , it has the power for what it needs to do. The only downside wud be the battery life ,which I was already aware of . You can not really count on this battery to last long. I am planning on ordering just a separate battery with more amperage ,that way I can actually depend on it to use for longer period. ... show more

  • Durable and powerful makeshift massage gun, with some issues
Style: 20V Battery + Charger Included
THIS REVIEW IS FOR USING THE WORX JIGSAW AS A MASSAGE GUN ONLY AND NOTHING ELSE I've been using this jigsaw as a makeshift massage gun for some time now. So far, it's been good and has not broken unlike some of the other massage guns I've used, but there are some issues. Pros: Durable Powerful and hits the spots the best out of all massage guns I've used Cheap but high power Cons: Battery it comes with doesn't last very long, about 40 minutes of run time for me Battery it comes with takes a long time to fully charge, about three hours Loud Not very ergonomic to use Durable: I've used four other massage guns. Reathlete Fold (started malfunctioning but still sorta worked); some $40 massage gun I bought from target (very weak thrusting power); Lifepro Dynasphere (broke after 8 weeks of use); and Lifepro Sonic (still using it as of now). Not only is this the most durable, but it's also the most powerful of them all. It has a fan built in that makes it seem like it gets hotter than all the other massage guns, but it's actually because it's dispersing heat out of the jigsaw. Powerful: Has a powerful thrust of about half an inch of stroke length (Dynasphere has 13mm of stroke length) and has a very high stall force as it's a jigsaw used for cutting fairly hard material. Some may find it a little too rough for their needs, but I find it just right. It is the most powerful massage gun I've owned. Cheap: Bought the jigsaw plus massage heads for about ~$110. Reathlete fold is $250. Lifepro Dynasphere was $100, but broke after use. Lifepro Sonic is $110 to $170, but not as powerful. Battery has short duration: The worst thing about this jigsaw. The battery only lasts for 40 minutes to an hour when I use it. This wouldn't be an issue if it didn't take that long to charge it, but it does take a while to charge. You can buy an extra or larger battery, but it'll cost at least 50 extra dollars and will make the jigsaw heavier to hold. Long charge time: With the charger it comes with, it will take about 3 hours to charge a dead battery to full. Once again, you CAN buy a faster charging charger, but that will up the total cost by another 50 dollars. I've circumvented both the duration and charge time by using another weaker massage gun for most of my body, then the jigsaw for specific spots that need extra work. Loud: The loudest massage gun I've owned. I don't have a measurement of the decibels, but it's quite loud. Not "blow your eardrums" loud, but it's loud. The fan is probably why it's the most loudest. Lackluster ergonomics: The jigsaw has a trigger safety. You need to depress a button before you press the trigger otherwise the trigger won't move. Unlike other dedicated massage guns, you need to keep the trigger depressed for it to work. This makes it weird to reach certain spots as you have to hold the jigsaw weirdly in order to hold the trigger down. The jigsaw is also heavy (heaviest of all massage guns I've used) and the largest of all massage guns that I've used. Extra notes: I purchased this jigsaw with the recommended items which was the "Massage Gun Heads, Jigsaw Massage Adapter Bits, Muscle Massage Gun Heads, 6-Piece Bit Sets Muscle Relaxation Trigger Point Massager Heads " and the "Reciprotools RCT-A10 Reciprocating Saw Adapter ". I realized I didn't need the saw adapter, as that's not what I need for massaging purposes, so I returned it. The jigsaw's speed scales depending on how much you depress the trigger. It's either really slow or very fast. Up to 3000 rpm at max. There are some issues with the massage heads I purchased with it, but I'll review that in the respective amazon page. I do not recommend you use this for both construction work and massage work. This will lower the duration. Stick with one use. This jigsaw has some other functions to it, like the pivoting head, but I've found no use for things like this for massaging, ... show more

  • Great for Single Woman Home owner
Style: 20V Battery + Charger Included
This is a great product for the single woman home owner. It is light-weight, convenient and super easy to use. I use this tool for DIY projects and to trim small limbs.. it is not a good tool for daily use in heavy construction, or to trim larger (over 3" diameter) limbs and small trees. My blade got stuck in a small scrub oak and I can't pull it out. Had to disconnect the blade. I suggest trying better, high quality, blades. I purchased a pack of multiple sizes and utilities from Amazon and they wear out pretty quickly on my trees. Also, when cutting tree limbs, that are larger in size, it takes a while to get through some of them and the battery does wear out pretty quickly. I was cutting dogwoods and scrubs, which are hard wood. It takes several hours, or more, for the battery to charge back up. Again, This is not the ideal tool for that kind cutting, but it's still an awesome tool to have on hand. I love it! ... show more
