Description

This versatile, powerful, and compact 20V Impact Driver was designed to be strong enough to get the job done, yet small enough to get into narrow spaces. So you can bring all this force to places other drills have trouble fitting into. Its motor has been engineered with efficiency in mind, so it wastes little battery while still doling out 0-3300 bpm and 1500 inch/lbs of torque. Control the speed by pulling harder on the trigger, so you can decide exactly how much force each fastener requires. And the forward and reverse switch lets you back out slowly, too. The quality-of-life features on this drill are what sets it apart. It’s smaller and lighter than other drills with similar specs, so you can grip it tighter. Its handle is designed to be used for long stretches with its soft, overmold construction. And the LED light prevents you from ever having to work in the dark. The ¼” hex chuck accepts all popular brands of bits and comes with a 2 Phillips screwdriving bit, as well as a 5-hour charger and 20V 1.5 Ah Power Share battery. And that battery can be used on any power or garden tool on the Worx PowerShare platform. It’s an Impact Driver with modern features to make it easier on the user, but still built to perform for decades to come.

I needed an impact driver to replace the blade on my mower and since I already have a handful of Worx batteries that I keep regularly charged, this was a no brainer. I was first criticized "Get the Dewalt", but I just needed it for the mower blade and again the batteries. This has a lot of power to it. I needed to get a new impact screwdriver. The Worx WX291L.9 20V received good ratings so I ordered the drill/impact combo. The price was good. After a couple months of use, I loved them so much that I ordered three more impact drivers, one more drill and two backup batteries. I own a custom cabinet shop and I use these daily, at least six days a week. The first thing I was impressed with was how long the battery lasted. My prior cordless were 16V. The 20 is much better. They are also lighter than the ones I had before. Lighter with more power and longer battery life, a great combo. When my neighbor said he needed an impact driver, without a second thought, recommended the Worx. Since I had all the order information from my last purchase, I ordered him two impact drivers, which came to my house. Inside the box was all the tools Worx makes that work with the same battery. This was new to me because this is the first time I had seen this. He then started his wish list of additional Worx tools. I've been a mechanic for 30 years using lots of air tools. This little driver is a beast for it's size,,,,The battery lasts for hours. I used it for a full day on one battery putting lag bolts in wood. Used it at junk yards all day pulling parts not ideal for lug nuts were big power is needed but if you compare it to a air ratchet/drill your in business. Strongly recommend this tool. ... show more

The battery life is exceptional, my dewalt I probably get 1 1/2 days out of running service calls.This drill can sometimes last 4 days with a 20volt battery. Been had it awhile it’s been consistent. It is a pretty heavy drill for an impact more like the weight of a wood drill. Has a different kind of angle for drilling but I don’t find it difficult to switch back and fourth between this and my dewalt through the week. I originally got the drill because I had acquired sum other worx products and had a excessive amount of their batteries ( I preferably like the one with the life Indicator on the back of the battery) I just needed and back up for work instead of paying for a second battery for the dewalt for $100 I opted in on the purchase of this drill as it comes without a battery for a better price, so more less exactly what I needed.
