These kate spade earrings are a pretty, decorative silver earring that matches with everything. They are large enough that they hang below my earlobe, but small enough that that they don't swing around and I can forget I am wearing them. I like the pretty design and the silver color. I feel that the price is quite high and you are paying for the brand more than the design, but they will appeal to kate spade fans! These earrings are lead-free and nickel free. I have not had any skin issues or reactions. I can wear these earrings all day and they don't hurt my ears. These were honestly very unimpressive. For the price point, I had much higher expectations and felt what came was costume quality at best. The posts were actually bent and overall they just look cheap. They are also HUGE - so if that's not your thing, I would recommend you keep looking for something else. Kate Spade is an accessible luxury brand. I worship their handbags. But their accessories tend to be a bit lackluster. Either they are overly whimsical or as the case with this one, lackluster. I don't know if it is the "matted" steel that does nothing to bring out the sparkling quality of the "lace" design so that they look more like fine silvery spiderwebs. Instead they appear as flowers locked inside bubbles. I don't know if it's because the stud has to align a certain way or you'll be wrestling with your ears to get them on.
