Here's my wife's review of this product: I bought this after reading the review here from the 68-year-old woman. I figured if she could use this, so could I. I'm in my 40s, but I'm lazy, short, and hate yardwork with a passion. I live on a little farm and I usually think that if I really want any greenery trimmed back, I can adopt a goat. But recently the path from my house to my barn and my driveway have both gotten pretty overgrown with blackberries and other bushes and trees. Not only do I not enjoy getting hit in the face with bushes, but the company that picks up our garbage told us we need to trim our driveway because they don't want their garbage truck to get scratched. And since I really don't have time for a goat right now, I figured I'd have to do some trimming. After gazing in despair at my manual clippers, I thought, "There's got to be a better way!" (yes, just like a dummy in an infomercial). So I did some research on Amazon and got this little number. I didn't want anything that was harder to operate than an electric toothbrush. I didn't want to deal with cords, or gasoline, or having to read instructions. I didn't want anything heavy or unweildy. This fit the bill perfectly. I charged up the battery, put on some safety goggles and went to town. This trimmer was so light and easy to use; you can switch directions and hands at will, and it cuts through bushes like butter. I even chopped through some pretty significant branches (thicker than 3/4 inches across) with no problems. I used it for 45 minutes and it didn't run out of charge. Whacking at things with this tool is actually really fun. So if you are: - Lazy - Short - Weak - Not into yardwork . . . but also: - Don't like getting hit in the face with bushes walking around in your own yard - Don't want to get yelled at for your bushes scratching someone's garbage truck - Are too busy to adopt your own goats . . . then this trimmer is for you! This would probably also work out just great for someone strong, tall, and motivated, but I can't speak to that from personal experience. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I used it to trim down some ornamental grass and some flowering shrubs. Not a heavy tool and easy to manage. Very easy to assemble out of the box. Battery is small, hence the lighter weight. Battery just plugs into a regular socket, no separate charger. I think I used it for about a half an hour. Easy to use. Length is good for the type of basic trimming of shrubs I did from ground level at a reasonable height. The tool comes with a blade cover that's soft plastic, not much but it's something. The manufacturer recommends just plain old WD 40 to lubricate blades. Great not to have to use a cord. I like it. I would buy again.

Much lighter easier to handle and a lot less vibration than B&D. On about 1/2 way down of our hedges battery only used one green light. cut thru shubbery like butter. Small sticks some larger trunks popped right off. I could get top trimmed then go back in for shaping or cut down futher. Larger trunks underneath it does get stuck on. TBE, for those i use a lopper. Not loud, barely noticeable. For main brake handle it will pop on to install itself once the screw end side is lined up dont need to force it. Overall very light, easy to maneuver, no kickback vibration to make arms of jelly, awesome hedge clippers. Did work in 30 min that old B&D would have taken 2 hrs. Mostly due to B&D blades being dull and machine klunky. Other 20v batteries do not work with this or its charger. Have spare off brand 20v's wanted to use as extra, dont fit...overall great purchase worth the money, watch out shrubs!

This Worx 20V hedge trimmer is fantastic! Even though we have a John Deere H20S gas trimmer that works really great, it is heavy at almost 15 lbs. and hard to wield for an hour of use This super lightweight Worx trimmer makes trimming hedges so much easier on the arms and shoulders. I figured the 20V Worx would be slow and underpowered, but it not at all. It makes quick work of the heaver trimming we have here at home. Cuts the trimming time and is so nice to just pickup and pull the trigger on. So much less effort to use vs a gas powered unit. I used to dread doing the trimming with the heavy gas unit, and now with the 20V Worx its so much better. I'm super impressed! We also already had a small 20V Worx chainsaw we use in the side-by-side along with the small cutting needs around the house, so the Worx hedge trimmer was a natural fit with the shared battery. We're really super impressed with both of these Worx 20V tools. The only thing I would want is a better and more heavy duty plastic blade guard to slip on the Worx 20V trimmer, it only comes with a lousy & flimsy plastic bag style protector in the shipping box. It's really just about worthless for blade protection.

Got tired taking longer to get the job done with shorter blades as well as tired using an electric and dealing with a long cord. Saw that gardeners used longer blades so got me one. And with providing two batteries, don't have to worry about not finishing job. Also a good feature, having a battery attached doesn't make it too heavy to handle - I'm 86.5 as well as petite, and able to manage it quite easily.
