The WORX Nitro WX272L 20V Power Share 1/2” Cordless Impact Wrench with Brushless Motor is part of the Nitro Series of tools, designed for more power and run time than typical battery-powered tools. This Nitro Impact Wrench has more portability and maneuverability than traditional pneumatic impact wrenches, because it’s lighter, compact, and you don’t have to carry a hose along with it. Plus, it’s quieter than pneumatic wrenches. 3 speeds give the user the flexibility to find the right rotational speed and torque for a wide variety of jobs. (0-1300/0-2200/0-2900 RPM, 0-2000/0-3200/0-3600 BPM, and 222 ft.-lbs. of max torque.) It’s powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor, which offers more power, performance, run time, and longevity than motors based on a brush design. Found in every mechanic’s toolbox, impact wrenches are made primarily for removing lug nuts from vehicle wheels, and this one does so in a lightweight and ergonomic form-factor that will put less strain on your hands than impact wrenches from previous generations. It weighs only 3.31 lbs., and the innovative GripZone micro-texture material on the handle makes it more comfortable to use, even after repeated use. Its professionally- sized ½ in. anvil accepts all ½ in. sockets, and the friction fit hog ring keeps sockets secure while allowing for fast socket changes in-between applications. Okay, stay with me here. This is part of the WORX Powershare group that all run on the same 20V batteries. One of the gadgets for the 20V battery is a dual USB interface. If you don't have dashcams by now you need to check the prices again. Then buy 2 (front/back) and plug them in here--why not to the car directly? b/c you want it recording when you PARK your car in case it gets hit. So do that first. BACK TO THE IMPACT DRIVER: You already have a 20V battery in your car for your dashcams, if you get a flat you can move that battery to your impact driver to remove the wheel nuts from your tire. But WAIT, there's more! Obviously you pull out the impact socket that fits your wheel nuts and put it in the car, but then check out your spare tire--if it uses different wheel nuts for the "donut" take out the impact socket for THAT size and put it in the car. AND, finally, look at the (tiny) emergency jack and get the socket that fits that. Now you put the jack under your car and use this impact wrench to raise it in seconds rather than using the handle manually. So, worst case you've got 3 impact sockets and this tool in your car and when you get a flat you should be able to change it easily (if you can lift the tire) on the side of the road rather than Uber or Tow service. ... show more

As a car enthusiast I like to work on my car on the routine maintenance and simple tasks from suspension and brakes. Having the right tools for DIY projects is essential. This impact wrench easily removed the big bolts and nuts from my car's tires and suspension parts and made the work much easier. Battery had enough juice for a day's work. It's light and decent sized. I don't think there's much to say about this one. It makes your job easier and that alone makes it pay for itself. On a separate note, I want to add that WORX also has great customer support quick to respond. When I received this tool it didn't work correctly, or basically not at all. I got frustrated just to think I was ripped off, but I contacted support and they quickly processed an RMA. Within a couple of days I got the replacement and sent back the defective unit. The replacement was new and worked perfectly since day 1. UPDATE 8/21/2023: I have used this tool maybe 7-8 times. It has started an issue that when untightening it will spin for about one one or two seconds and stop. It still has power to remove bolts but I'm afraid it will eventually stop working because that is how the first dead one started behaving until it fully quit working. Really sad since I live outside of the US and shipping it in for warranty will probably be more expensive than just buying another one. ... show more

I purchased this because I have lots of the nitro products and have many batteries..that being said I'm a chrysler dealership mechanic I used a milwaukee impact that is awesome.. I was hesitant at first to but this nitro impact gun .. boy am I glad I did this gun is equally or better than my milwaukee.. it will take the front suspension off a 2010 ram here in the rust belt ..very impressed been my go to gun daily ..can't go wrong price is good and performance its pro grade ... show more

I have other WORX tools, mostly outdoor, and I'm happy with those. I bought this, keeping in mind the battery's interchange. Was very happy with how much power this has. It'll take lug nuts off with no issues! I haven't needed it for anything heavier yet, so we'll see how it goes.
