This thing surprised me. It takes a minute or two to warm up but it does an excellent job. Not having to deal with a stupid cord is just what the doctor ordered. Worx makes pretty good stuff. If you already have the worx 20v batteries this thing is an excellent choice. The Glue is VERY strong. Worx for me !! LOL just had to say that, it really is a great glue gun I happened to have a weed wacker I bought years ago and have two 20 volt batteries for it still works so when I saw the glue gun that uses the same batteries no brainer bought it right away and very happy with it used it to repair my cats climbing tower with scratch posts needed to replace the ropes and thought that this might be the easiest way to do the repair and sure enough it worked great bought extra glue sticks and went to town replacing the worn ropes came out great cats love it. So if it Worx don't knock it !! Sorry can't stop being crazy great day today. P.S. does not come with batteries . ... show more

Turn it on and in 2 minutes you can go anywhere and glue whatever needs fixing. Heats up quickly and no cord to get tangled with. Light and portable it does the job easily and quickly. Highly recommend like all the Worx tools. This is really well built and easy to handle.

Works perfectly. Great cordless tool. The glue gets very hot! Be careful. Love this thing. I just used it to take down rubber shelf liners. Those shelf liners aren’t moving. Ever!

I use a hot glue gun for various tasks in my work. "Hot" is the key word when gluing up things that need a strong bond. It heats up in the time they say it does. The indicator light on top is nice to keep an eye on it to use as soon as it's ready. It gets up to the 380 plus F temp no problem. This is probably one of the most important factors for me. Too many hot glue guns do not always get as hot as they say they will and it costs you in a weaker bond. There's some drippage and it can string out if you're not familiar with it. Take the time to get the feel of the tool. As a bonding test, I glued a piece of cement block, a red brick, and a piece if wood together, outdoors, and didn't really clean them off well first. My kind of a "worst case scenario" kind of test, and I was able to hold up the bonded brick and concrete with the wood. That's how good of a bond I got. I can't complain about that. Nope. I do lots of crafting & home repairs & the WORX Hot Glue Gun is PERFECT! It heats up really fast without very much of a drip from the nozzle. The nozzle is small enough to reach in those impossible places yet it's large enough to allow good glue flow. To use it I snap in a battery from one of my other WORX products and hit the little button on top. This is my favorite WORX purchase, so far, out of about 10 items. It is a little "weighty" with the battery on but not so much it effects using it. With no cord it makes it so easy to move around and up &down with any size or shaped project. it works great. no clogging issues. the battery last a good amount of time. it also shuts itself off after a period of not using it which is nice to prevent burning down your house. when they say no leaking they mean it.
