Right out of the box My wife set it up and touched up an old tat I have, just to test it. It works fantastic! Touch up took less than 20 minutes! Not bad as far as 'pain meter" goes so that is a plus. I recommend this for anyone who is just starting out or have experience.

Decent starter kit, I mostly just wanted the gun. Do actually do people, you would need to buy safe ink, also the fake skin is low quality which is fine, I would get my fake skin from Reelskin.
