When I evaluated this purchase I tried to compare this to higher-end tools. This tool's 3 degree oscillation angle is on par with other higher-end precision tools. The 3 amp motor again is on par with other higher-end multi-tools. Overall when I did that first plunge cut it worked as I had expected , it cut with precision and was easy to hold and control. But by the fourth plunge cut the saw blade had lost a couple of teeth. I noticed that there were suppose to be a bi-metal plunge-cut blade but this one only had the precision wood cutting blade. Blade changes are a snap, it takes standard blades so that is a plus over some of the higher-end multi-tools. So if you are buying by spec, this is a good tool but don't buy it for the blades. ... show more
