These shoes are a godsend! I’ve purchased so many work shoes in the last few months and none of them truly hit all of my check marks. This shoe here did! I wear these shoes to work in my garden and various outdoor home duties. I needed a shoe that is easily slip in and out of since I tend to walk back into the house for a break or a drink of water. I needed a shoe that can also provide a secure snug fit when I dig with a shovel. The zipper function of the shoe was perfect for me since I hate tying shoe laces and the slip on boots weren’t secure enough for digging with a shovel. Also, I didn’t expect these shoes to be a true waterproof shoe but surprisingly, it performed well when I sprayed off the mud. It didn’t have moisture issues. The shoe is true to size. I did remove the original sole since it was super thin and replaced it with a gel sole insert. It became a tighter fit. Plan on a larger size shoe if you want to replace the sole insert. Overall, it was a good purchase for me. I wish I found this shoe a long time ago rather than spending all my money on other shoes before this one. I expect these shoes to last quite awhile. It seems to be constructed for durability. I’m not a big fan of steel or composite toe protection since I’m working at home and OSHA doesn’t run this operation! If it didn’t have the toe protection, it would have made the shoe’s weight lighter for my liking. I am pleased so far. They are comfortable for a steel toed boot and flexible. If these last 6 more months I am getting two more pair. I get on and off my tractor, Climb Ladders, walk through woods and so far Best boots I have owned at 65 years old.

The inside feels like a wooden shoe. Whoever said it was comfortable, has a different concept than me. I tried two pair of socks and still awful. I used to wear Roper Horseshoes for about 40 years but for the last ten, they were no longer made in America. The inside is no longer comfortable so I finally decided to look elsewhere. I’ve been wearing these steel-toe shoes for a few weeks now, and they have exceeded my expectations in every way! These boots are narrow, not comfortable right out of the box and Not slip resistant, I wish I would’ve gotten a size up. After replacing the insoles and cutting the stitching in the toe box they’re comfortable-ish. Only thing they’ve got going for them is they look sweet. After 12 hours walking in these I have a laundry list of gripes, they’re cheap slip on boots, can’t expect much ... show more

I really liked these boots... they fit good right out of the box and they were holding up really well for work boots. They seemed like tough boots. Then today, about 8 months wearing the boots, I noticed that both of the soles were split clear across the boot right where it bends when you walk. High praise for the rest of the boot but it's tough to get past the soles busting out! ... show more
