These turned out to be extremely lightweight work boots, which is exactly why I chose them in the first place, and I'm very happy about that. A lot of times the product page will make these lightweight claims and it's usually unfounded as the boots feel like they have been built out of lead. These ones by GUSAYEX are an exemption to that rule and it's refreshing to see boots that have claims that hold true once you receive the product. I love the overall design and styling of these boots, how lightweight they are, very conformable to wear, even though the insoles are a bit flat but offer a nice cushion to them, especially on the toe box. The steel toe is extremely sturdy and doesn't affect mobility, flexibility or comfort. Excellent! One sad thing to mention is that these are not water resistant. For just about ten dollars more you can easy find similar boots that are waterproof. It would've been nice if these had those characteristics as well. The soles are very soft, malleable and very grippy, which is both very good for comfort, but also very bad for durability. Considering the overall price point, I suppose that could be slightly overlooked. If you're looking for comfort and affordability in this particular, military hiking / work boot styling, these boots by GUSAYEX should definitely be on your radar. Recommended!

They seem like a poor value for the money. The shoelaces don’t look like they’re going to last for a month. The tongue is not padded enough. The top of the lace up, there are no hooks, but a peculiar kind of tubular eye. I’m returning them without hesitation.
