These solar lights were much nicer than I expected and seem well made, the light is not super bright but gives enough light at night which is very warm lighting. They give just enough light for my dark patio & yard. Worked right out of the box but like all solar lighting depends on the sunlight they receive during the day. If fully charged they seem to last a good 8 hours maybe a bit longer. If fully charged you'll still get a few hours of light they do so far light up every night even on cloudy days. I am very happy with these and will plan to buy a few more you get 2 in the box, for the price and quality they were a great value. Very pretty lights and great ascetics for my yard! Kind of bummed that these solar lights are not as bright as I hoped. They are compact and low profile though - for that, I will be getting a couple more. I don't need alot of light as it is more for decorative purposes. Easy was easy to install and they are lite weight. These have an on and off switch inside, so when or if I decide to store them away for the winter, I can turn off in hopes the light mechanism will be preserved. ... show more

If you are looking to have your whole yard lit up with these, then these are not for you. I put these on our outdoor shed where we keep all of our pool toys to just have enough light to put things away in the dark. They do not light up the whole yard (which is good for me). I just wanted something to give off enough light to see at night. They were very, very easy to install. They come with a template that you can stick on whatever you are attaching them to for easy placement of screws. They do come with an on/off switch, so just remember to turn them on. ... show more

Not all of the lights worked. I installed them before I checked, my bad. In order to get a replacement bulb for the two defective ones, I have to take them all down and return! Don't waste you money, the ones that do work are not bright and do not last. Might as well have given my money away.

The lights are a warm color and provide just as much light as our yard lights (as seen in the photos). It makes a finishing touch to our driveway gate AND provides additional lights when backing the RV up after dark. The lights are solar so they run dusk to dawn. These are well-designed so that the light fixture is one solid piece so the template to mount the screws is beyond HELPFUL (the screw holes are on the back of the light itself). ... show more

The build of these lights is impressive. The body is quite heavy, and the lens is glass. They came well protected with dense foam inserts, and two templates were included for attaching the screws to mount them. The light is fairly bright, and can illuminate a smaller area very well. They stay bright for at least 4-5 hours (I have not stayed up long enough to see them dim or go out). Because of their weight (and the glass lens) you will want to take care to mount them securely, but if you have a good fence, deck post, or other sturdy and stable vertical surface, they are a nice way to add a good amount of light in a compact package. Given their surprisingly high build quality, the current price of about $10 per light is extremely fair. ... show more

Like any solar device time in the sun during the day will determine how long the charge last. Placed in a bright sunny area they are perfect.. They have just enough light to create a path. They don't seem bright enough for anything more than direct or mood lighting.
