  • WOOL AS AN ORGANIC FERTILIZER - FACTS YOU DIDN'T KNOW
  • FACT 1 - WOOL IS ORGANIC AND 100% NATURAL. Wool Pellets are 100% sheep wool. No polymers here!
  • FACT 2 - WOOL HOLDS MOISTURE AND THEN RELEASES IT. Wool Pellets allow moisture in the soil to release as plants need. You can reduce watering by up to 25%! Wise very waterwise.
  • FACT 3 - WOOL IS AN ORGANIC FERTILIZER CONTAINING ACCESSIBLE NITROGEN AND POTASSIUM. Wool pellets start feeding plants from day one and keep on feeding for 6 months. Allows for a slow release fertilizer with no spikes and drops during the growing season.
  • FACT 4 - WOOL IS NATURALLY FLUFFY (YOU KNEW THIS FACT) Wool pellets expand in soil, creating porosity and better soil oxygenation. Helps plants grow strong roots in soil.

  • Great way to keep plants healthy
We have dry spells in summer in NE Ohio, and these pellets really help. My swiss chard and spinach really thrived this year!

  • Fantastic add with potting soil
Great fertilizer/holds moisture in soil blocking, I may eventually get a large bag, only downside is price but it’s fair. Might have to get my own sheep to afford it haha

  • I guess I should have paid more attention
This is a ridiculously small bag for the price. In a flat envelope small. I didn't realize wool is so expensive.

  • Works for me
I used a similar product last year after I developed a slug issue. The wool pellets stopped the slugs cold. That product wasn't available this year so I ordered this. It looks almost identical. This product was shipped quickly. No, it isn't a huge package but I only used it at the base of the plants I wanted to protect. Last year the plants I used it around did wonderfully. I wish I lived somewhere that I could get actual sheep fleece but I dont. This is the next best thing. ... show more

  • These are gold!
Using these around my dahlias for slug prevention. It’s been over a week and since putting out I haven’t found one slug. I was finding at least 5 a night prior. I had a couple dahlias get annihilated early on and they may actually recover because of the sheeps wool. Will use these every year.

  • Good product
I was curious because a lot of UK gardeners use sheep's wool for fertilizer, and they can buy potting soil with pellets in it. I know of a woman who topdresses large plants and trees every year with wool that she gets from the sheep farmer next door, and her place is amazing. In all the places where I used this in the holes when I planted something, the plants are doing just great. So far I'm loving this and will buy it again. ... show more

  • It works.
My potted plants have really improved since I started adding it to the potting soil. This is my second bag.

  • Too expensive for the amount you receive.
Very expensive for the amount you get. It's scrap wool for heaven's sake. This is a waste product that is repurposed as mulch or fertilizer for plants. It worked well to keep the slugs and snails at bay but is way to costly to use for more than a few plants. Once my plants were big enough to fend for themselves, I removed it to use again next year. ... show more
