  • Great air fryer recipes, and is most definitely NOT a keto book
I think there was a review mix-up or something, because this air fryer book is most definitely not a keto book. It has recipes for breads, cookies, bundt cakes, etc that include flour and sugar, as well as many other recipes with ingredients that would not be used on a keto diet. I have been successfully doing noom, which does not have restrictions per se - except for calories, so I got an air fryer because it makes it possible to make lower-calorie versions of favorite foods that normally require a lot of oil. This book has been a great resource in both regards - for noom, because calorie counts are included along with the nutritional info for every recipe; and for being an air-fryer newbie. The recipes are not terribly out of the ordinary, but they are good. It is, after all, a cookbook for beginners! For me, those recipes made it much easier to quickly grasp how to adapt other recipes to the air-fryer by cooking the basic, familiar dishes in this book. Beyond recipes for meals, I'm always looking for good snack recipes that are easy to make and satisfying. My latest craving from this book is the Parmesan Fried Dill Pickles. The whole family thinks they're awesome. I don't know about the hardcover book, but the kindle version has very few photos - it seems to be one per chapter - and they are very small. Otherwise the kindle version is very good, with clickable links in the contents as well as in the pull-down menus for each chapter. No index, but with two pages of recipe listings in the contents, one is really not that necessary. I am learning that there are so many things an air fryer can do beyond making chicken wings -lol- although Buffalo Wings are definitely included in the book - and this book has provided me with an excellent way to find that out. ... show more

  • Highly recommended air fryer book for people new to air frying.
Format: Paperback
If you are new to the world of air frying as I am, this is the book for you! I just got the book about an hour ago, and I've already gotten the answers to several questions I had about the process of air frying. The book has the most complete chart (with temperatures and times) I've seen yet for foods you'll be air frying. The chart alone (several pages long) is worth the price of the book. The recipes all call for ingredients the average cook will have on hand already or that the local grocery stocks. Directions and ingredients are clearly written in a readable font on white pages. The index is well organized. The paper that the book is written on is heavy, not prone to tearing as you thumb through the pages. Recipes are practical, down-to-earth ones that families will enjoy eating. This is a book that is well worth the money for people new to air frying. It's a great reference tool; the recipes are good, too! There are some color pictures in the book, and they add to the overall logical arrangement of recipes and information presented. It's the best introduction to air frying I've seen. ... show more

  • The book to get if you know nothing about cooking or air fryers
Format: Paperback
Really a great book, as it is basic, readable, and simple enough that anyone can understand it. I've ordered other books on air frying, but this is still my basic go to book. The book briefly and clearly explains the basics of air frying. The recipes are simple and require very few ingredients. Unlike many other books it is doesn't have a lot of complex recipes, long cooking times, or require a lot of mixing, cooking or other baking to achieve a satisfactory end product. If you're already comfortable with their air frying, this is NOT for you. But if you are a novice at air fryers and air fryer recipes, or just want to try an air fryer out, I think you'll find this book easy to understand and a great way of starting out. ... show more

  • imo bland and uninspiring
Format: Paperback
I didn’t think much of this cookbook. It was very suburbia, mostly bland food you’d feed to a picky child. I might make use of the time/temp tables in the front, though I’m sure I could find those online for free, and maybe the chicken tenders recipe, but most of these recipes barely spiced anything past salt and I’m just not that kind of cook. If you’re cooking for adults, it’s probably not the book for you. I’m probably going to donate it to Goodwill or something. I got another cookbook in the same order as this one that is much more to my taste. ... show more

  • Basic essential airfryer book
Format: Paperback
Yeah , I know it doesn’t have pictures… but hear me out it’s a staple for all kitchens that have an airfryer. It’s easy to access and not cluttered - straight to the point.
