Unlike most puzzles, this is made of naturalwood, packaged well and perfectly in a box, making it a perfect gift. It has good weight and mass, and all planets have corresponding card descriptions, which is very educational. So far, my child really likes it

The first one I ordered arrived with just seven planets. Venus was missing entirely. I returned it and ordered another one which came with all eight planets. Luckily, shipping was super quick because it was for an upcoming birthday. My five year old loves it and the planets and board that they fit into are pretty great. The cards are pretty worthless though. The text is minuscule and poorly written with a lot of incomplete sentences. I threw them in the trash honestly. I would still recommend this purchase because of how much my son loves the wooden planets. However, I do feel like the quality could be better for the price (better cards, not missing planets, Neptune and Uranus are incorrectly placed in the picture on the box, etc.) Maybe just lower the price?

This is the best solar system puzzle toy I have ever bought, it has educational significance. It is made of wood, with rich colors, and the solar system is very vivid. The corresponding cards are very detailed. My child loves it very much. The moment he received it, he couldn't put it down and playedin the living room for several hours. The next day, he shared it with his friends. I am very happy to have chosen this planetary toy for my child.

I bought a planetary toy for my friend's son. He is 3 years old and loves this solar system toy set very much. He knows the names of each planet. It can be used as a puzzle, and the card has a good description of each sphere, which is a very educational gift, I'm so satisfied

My niece is a big space lover and I got this for her 3rd birthday—her mom texted me and told me she hasn’t stopped playing with since Saturday (when I watched her crack open the box and put it all together and match the cards)🥰

We used this as a way to illustrate the solar system. Unfortunately, Mars immediately rolled away and got lost. It was still, however, a valuable visual for the kids, especially my youngest. Being able to touch and see the planets and consider their colors, etc, from 3D was really good for her. It's something that comes out frequently when we speak about the planets. I wouldn't be too worried about it being a choking hazard - the balls seem a little big, but I'd still watch anyone under 5 with it closely. Hopefully we find Mars someday.

This hands-on solar system model served as a great learning tool for our preschooler's exploration of space. It's such a big idea for little minds--this board gave the children a tactile experince in understanding the expansive universe beyond...Each planet is uniquely painted, detailing the unique characteristics of each "rock in the sky" (Asher, age 4). The cards accompanying the set also give valuable, concrete information, distinguishing each planet. Great learning manipulative!
