Easy to put together, looked great for a couple weeks. After a month started to get cracks, finish is coming off seat. Unable to get a refund or replacement, since it’s passed the 30 days Sent message to seller with no response. See attached pictures.

I bought the oversized chairs. The directions were straight forward and I did not have any issues putting them together. I am 5' 2" and I fit very comfortably in the chairs. I would not consider them oversized because my arms were aligned perfectly with the arm rests. Good price for the quality.

Adirondecks are perfectly fit for your back that you feel like falling asleep and these ARE NOT! We had to buy small sponge seats to be able to sit in this hard poorly profiled chair. I didn't send it back because it was too much fuss and time and packing it back was a problem too.

I have encountered Adirondack chairs before that were the absolute WORST to assemble and have given me some hesitation ordering another online. However, I took a chance on this one after some research. The fact that some parts are already pre-assembled was a big factor. All in all, I would say that the assembly is not too bad. It’s easier if you have two people working on it and a power tool for the screws - but even by myself, I managed. It is certainly not a 30 minute job and I would put aside at least an hour, especially if you want to be careful about getting things right and not having to redo previous steps. However, if you are careful and pay attention to what you are doing (ignoring a couple of mistakes on the instruction sheet - which you will probably notice if you’re being sufficiently observant), then things do go smoothly. I would say this isn’t difficult to assemble. You just need to allocate time, and be patient with the fact that such lounge chairs with multiple parts are never a lightning quick task to put together. The chair itself is great! Comfortable, attractive, and a nice shade of wood. Perfect for lounging in. If you plan to sit on it for long stretches, you can also get Adirondack chair cushions for added comfort. I have it on a covered porch, so it is somewhat protected from the elements. I’m not worried about it there - especially since I live in Southern California. But given that it is real wood, I would take extra care with maintenance and also get a waterproof chair cover if you plan to have it outdoors in the open. Maybe even store it indoors during the winter. Having previously lived in rainy/damp New York, I can testify that no matter how great the wood, it WILL probably get moldy or wrecked much more quickly if it’s allowed to endure heavy rains, snow, etc. We’ve had the most “weather-proof” types of wood furniture and it still happened rapidly in the Northeastern climate.     • A Nice Looking Budget Adirondack Chair and Ottoman -- But Work Needed to Preserve it

Wood-Natrl Store's Adirondack Chair and Ottoman is fairly easy to put together, but you need to be be careful, because the wood is very light and unfinished -- like a very dry pine. You will absolutely need to do some additional work if you want to keep this chair outside for more than one year -- that means sealing it at the very least to protect the wood from the elements -- and you from splinters, but also to staining and painting for a more finished appearance. Assembly was fairly easy. The ottoman came fully assembled, but one of the screws had fallen out. I found it in the box, but I also needed to tighten all the other pre-assembled screws. As far as what you're required to assemble, I found most of the holes lined up, but there were a few others that I had to force in place -- and I worried about the wood cracking. All the necessary screws and bolts come in a separate pack along with a wrench, however, you'll need a phillips head screwdriver or drill bit to tighten the screws. In my case, I sanded the final product, put on a coat of primer, painted it red, and sealed it with a few coats of polyurethane. If you don't seal this, I don't see this last more than a few year before it weathers and crumbles. ... show more
