Update-Original review below: Seller contacted me and offered a remedy to the missing frames mentioned in the original review. I have also begun to assemble the rest of the boxes now that I know that I am not returning the item. The remaining 3 boxes have much cleaner cuts and sanding compared to the first, joins are also better aligned without the gaps of the first with level bottom edges, it's like they weren't even made by the same company. I will post pics later. If I would have received everything at first and if the first box didn't have issues this would be an easy 5 star. Because of the issues 3 star. Original: Not super happy with this purchase. Joins are pretty rough and with either big gaps or too tight causing splits, cuts themselves are also pretty rough without smooth edges. I've only assembled 1 box but here are some pictures of what I'm talking about. The bottom edge where it will sit is also uneven so it will wobble unless you plane it yourself. I could deal with that as I can fix all that myself, but what really upsets me is ordered a10 frame hive (which is what shows up in my order history). What I got was a 10 frame box but with an 8 frame kit, meaning I only received 32 of the 40 frames this hive needs.

This product was listed as a 10-frame but only came with 8-frames. The size of the boxes are 10-frame and the pictures show ten frames, so what happened? Other than missing frames, the hive is great!

The boxes and frames are very well milled in my case, but as others have mentioned, I received the wrong parts. I ordered an 8 frame hive. I wanted to lighten the frames a bit :) I received 10 frame boxes, but only enough frames and foundations to do an 8 frame hive... I have sent a message to the seller. Morally speaking, I'm not financially burdened, I just need to know how to buy the additional frames and foundations, or they need to swap out my boxes, which I have already assembled...

This hive box looks nice and good but the wood merial is not relly good wy the wood is not a solid piece of wood it is multiple pieces asembled in one ..the. Box asembled is ok thick of wood is only 6/8 that is thin wood it not for longest time like .Im aspecting of duration that wy order one to seé quality sos anyway tanks and I will apreciata your service and delivery tanks lot

I bought the 10 frame version with two deeps and two mediums. It only came with enough frames for an 8 frame version.
