I did a lot of research to replace my old bidet toilet. I went with this one for a number of reason. Price, reviews and features. Ordered and had next day delivery by FedEx. However as they usally do they did not make it out to our place until the following day. Still quick considering it was a late night purchase. The install went quick and was no harder than installing a regular toilet. All the parts I needed were included except the water house. I just reused the old one. The water connection is a standard 7/8 ballcock fitting. I ran the power through the wall to an outlet just on the other side. The whole install only took 30 minutes. After it was installed and before I caulked it down we used it for a day to make sure there were no leaks. I also tested all the features and it works prefect. My only concern is that the actual bidet pressure is not as strong as our last one. ... show more

I purchased the Woodbridge smart toilet after doing LOTS of research on bidet toilet seats/systems. I looked at this type of toilet particularly because my husband had severe Crohn's Disease and lots of complications from that for almost 35 years. We were planning our primary bath remodel when he was on hospice, and his "dream" toilet had to have a bidet feature, even though he was not going to be using it. I ended up purchasing two, one for our primary bathroom reno and another for the hall bath reno happening afterward because they HAD to match. We have a mid-century modern home that is architecturally significant in our area. From a design perspective, we wanted to have a modern and minimalist mid-century feel. We used materials that would have been used when our home was built (carrara marble hex tiles on floor/accent wall, 4x12 carrara on walls floor to ceiling). NO MORE PAINTING!! My two cents: If you're replacing a toilet, replace your others so they match (do that with your vanity and other design elements as well)!! It helps pull everything together & make it look thought out & well planned as opposed to mismatched and chaotic. I am extremely picky, and my hubby was even more picky than me (I didn't even know that was possible! lol). So if YOU'RE picky too, this toilet will probably work for you!! The first toilet has been installed since November 2021, so I've had some time to use it. I haven't used most of the features yet--I still can't believe all the things that it can do. My contractor did make sure everything worked when he was installing it. AND he is ALSO very picky, and he was so impressed, he was planning to recommend this toilet to his other clients. PICKY PEOPLE, THIS IS YOUR CHOICE. My overall impressions: OVERALL: 4.4 STARS Again, I say, picky people, this is your toilet. The toilet lid is cheap, but other than that, it's pretty great. CLEANING/FUNCTIONALITY: 5 stars It has a remote control to attach near the toilet; I did not attach it as it would only be 2 inches from where I was sitting :D. When you stand up, it automatically flushes on it's own (amazing!!). Love that feature. I wish it would start flushing when the toilet seat is closed all the way--then it would keep anything in the toilet "contained". I recall that the toilet is supposed to have a coating that resists poo attaching to it. I have had a small amount of poo remaining, but it's super easy to clean. The toilet seat itself has antibacterial properties. FEATURES: 5 stars Lots and lots of features. Haven't used them since installation, but they worked fine then. INSTALLATION: 5 stars Easy install per my contractor; I'm sure it will be fine for the one I'm installing in the hall bath. It DOES require it's own outlet at the floor, so know that ahead of time. And it is HEAVY--takes 2 people to move it safely. APPEARANCE: 4 stars It's a beautiful modern minimalist toilet, but it could probably be used flexibly if you are not going for a modern look. It sits out 4.5" from the wall, and the toilet itself is then 33" from wall to front of toilet (-1 star). DURABILITY: 3.5 stars It's made of porcelain and plastic, but the toilet lid is much more plastic-y and thin than the other parts of the toilet. This is the only thing that has been disappointing for me so far 9-1.5 stars). It has water spots on it from my shower system (not the toilet's fault), but the hard water does leave spots on the lid. I have only had to flip the GFCI once, and we've had lots of power surges & a couple of temporary power outages due to weather. PRICE: 4 stars It's $1100 (!!) and you have to have a dedicated GFCI outlet for it. Seems a bit overpriced to me. Hope this helped!! ... show more

    • Teriffic unit, install was a nightmare.
As others have noted, the angle valve that ships with it doesn't fit standard 1/2" copper supply tubing, and a regular U.S. valve won't work -- the 3/8" toilet connector won't deliver enough water. After a frustrating weekend doing research, I found a Sharkbite angle valve at Lowe's that had the requisite 1/2" MIP connection and we got the thing installed right away. I strongly recommend professional installation. This thing weighs 100 lbs and moving it around with the required precision is no small task. Now that it's installed and working, the toilet is wonderful. Takes some getting used to... the first time I went padding into the bathroom in the middle of the night the lid flipped up and scared me to death! But the features are great, the power flush is much more effective than the old toilet, and the wife loves the heated bidet (I haven't had the courage to try THAT function!). ... show more

    • treat your behind to the luxury it deserves
it's a great piece. after 1 year and 3 of these in the house it's still run great. My only advice is if your new toilet doesn't seem to be able to push everything down strongly on the first 3 seconds then you might want to get it replace with a different one. I have 1 with weak flush that was return. it's the defects in the valve/nozzle assembly and not your water pressured. the other 3 are flawless. ... show more

Everything about this works well, except what many reviewers note: solids require multiple flushes. Average 2, occasionally 3, rarely but sometimes 1. If you are ok with that, should be good.

I've had this toilet over a year now in our primary bathroom and love it! Everything works beautifully, and when a few privileged friends get to use, it is a hilarious talking point on top of it all. I looked into other more expensive brands, but was underwhelmed. This is well worth the price, and a much better value. FYI, it is habit forming too! Nothing like walking up to a toilet expecting the lid to open, LOL. I intend to get other ones for our guest bathrooms. ... show more
