Used this on my Charbroil Kamodo grill to improve the seal. I now have no issue maintaining low (225) heat for slow cooking. These grills are crazy good and weigh less than half of a ceramic one of the same size. The problem is that the seal on both the top and bottom parts is not as effective as it needs to be. Do not buy this for your wood stove door, it’s not what you need. It may be 5/8 inch wide but it’s only an 8th inch thick. It won’t work.

You want to talk about easy? Well, let's talk about this. The self adhesive was great. I didn't have to fight to keep it in place. My application of it was to reseal the glass in wood stove. With this roll I was able to double it up and voila.....
