Had issue with BQ grill lid creating a draft on windy days making gas grill burners to go out while cooking due to 1/4" gap between BQ grill lid and frame. I purchased wood stove gasket with adhesive backing, after lining bottom of SS lid I no longer worry about BQ grill burners going out while cooking. I also noticed temperature settings no longer fluxuate when grilling I set temp to 450 & it goes to 450 and holds temp. I ve used BQ grill quite a few times and the wood stove gasket with adhesive is holding up quite well and it eliminated the draft. I didn’t know it was possible to make something like this cheaper, but this company found a way. Way too narrow to fit around the glass to seal like it is supposed to do.
