The media could not be loaded. Out of the box, I was already pretty nervous. You can tell just by picking it up that it's a big cheap plastic shell, more like a blu ray player you keep under your tv, not something you would feel comfortable transporting around like say a "portable Blu-ray player". The disc port matches the quality as the door doesn't really mesh with the plastic panels it's wedged in between, hopefully the plastic doesn't deform with heat and cold over time. The buttons are equally cheap feeling and loose, sometimes requiring double presses to actuatate their functions (and no it's not a feature or setting, other buttons work with one press). The sound is nothing to celebrate as it's a crap mono speaker, everything sounds compressed and has an audible static like you're watching an old VHS. On the plus side, the screen is really good size and not too clunky with good picture and it's you can adjust it on a swivel as well as pitched open or close like a laptop. The buttons have all the functions you need layed out easily to use. Battery life isn't bad for what is offered, although a dim/bright function or button would be appreciated to help stretch things out (even going into settings dropping brightness all the way down, the screen is almost a flashlight. Also you have to stop your Blu-ray to adjust any video settings, so if you're trying to adjust things just right, it's a lot of back and forth). The included cables for power are great, although I probably wouldn't use this on the road as it isn't ruggedized by any means, first bump in the road and you risk scratching the disc drive lens. Kind of a high price for what's basically a screen and a blu ray drive in a shell, but not bad for a blu ray player on the go (just don't play it on the go unless you're on a plane or boat in the smoothest of conditions). A wired speaker/headset (does not have Bluetooth capability) is almost a must as the little speaker built in leaves a lot to be desired.

The DVD player system fits perfectly in my backpack. This WONNIE Blu-ray DVD player is a steal, especially for anyone who travels frequently. Being portable makes it a perfect companion for road trips and vacations. The 16.9-inch screen is big enough for everyone to enjoy the movie, and it swivels to different angles for comfortable viewing from any position. WONNIE didn't skimp on quality - the picture quality is outstanding, and the battery life is impressive as well. While the remote lets you control everything from a distance, I usually keep it plugged in for extended use. Overall, this portable DVD player hits all the marks - it's functional, portable, and won't break the bank. I highly recommend it!

We needed a new portable player since our old one was getting old and banged around a bit. This is very nice and a good buy for the money. It will play any kind of disc, including CDs. (Our old player only played DVDs, not blurays or anything else. The screen is great and has a nice brightness to it. The battery lasted through two movies over multiple days with no recharging. It will likely go a bit longer as well. It also did great in a minivan on a highway and city roads that were bumping around. No skips or issues with the movie while it was playing. My only "gripe" is that the volume could be a bit louder. It was a little tough to hear for people who were in the far back of the minivan, but the quality was fine. This is also a bit bigger than you might expect. Which is nice because the screen is easier to see than some of the smaller players, but be prepared that it will take up a bit of space. All in all, we like it.

The screen quality on this isn't the best, its not as clear as I would like it to be. I does play disc very well thought with a decent sound quality. It runs a little noisily which could be an issue for some. I like that it is rechargeable which will make it ideal for using in hotels camping and road trips is you wish. it is bulky and not very light as it would be nice it is was. I like the swivel screen but I don't find it necessary for my needs. Overall you get what you pay for or less than in this situation.
