Padding at noseband, neck and browband keeps your horse comfortable, and a double closure at the nose makes sure the bridle stays in place. Stainless steel buckles allow adjustment for a perfect fit. If you ride bitless, this is a great bridle option. I have an OTTB that I ride in this bridle. We do multiple disciplines and activities (english, western, trail, sorting, jumping, etc.) and it works well for all of them. It is similar to a Dr. Cooks but my opinion is this is gentler on the face and nose (of course that is really in the hands of the rider) and is definitely a much nicer looking bridle. ... show more

This is a very high quality well thought out bitless bridle. I have a very fussy mare and this bridle is very soft and padded. The nose band has padding so that the buckle under the chin doesn't rub, really an elegant design with the horse in mind. It functions just like a Dr Cook's cross under. The reins are also very nice, lightweight and already pretty soft. This bridle could easily cost twice the price and still be a good value. Props to the designer and manufacturer. ... show more

Do not buy from this seller. Thry require you pay return postage. It comes from India and return postage was going to cost me MORE than this bridle itself. Their ACE in the whole to not get any returns. Also the bridle itself was MUCH too large for my horse and did not match sizing given to choose from. Also the product is extremely stiff. I highly reccomend to stay away from this product and seller. Not happy all the way around. ... show more

It seems to be very nice quality leather because mine was super soft and flexible upon arrival. It is always a must for me to have prime shipping, but sometimes this seller does offer prime. My horse (15 hands) has a smaller head and needs the pony size, but it is super adjustable so that is nice if you need to use one for multiple horses. It also has leather padding where each buckle is under the chin. I can see it being a problem if you are not attentive when you put it on because you do not want them to fold in and create discomfort for the horse. The top of bridle that creates the poll pressure is very wide, so hopefully it will create nice even pressure over a wider surface. It is ideally a side pull that mimics the Dr. Cook bridle for a much more affordable price (this comes with a nice set of reins too!). ... show more

    • Good quality, but my horse goes better in another bitless bridle

Although this is well made & looks decent, my horse did not seem to care much for it. Not sure if it was the pressure under her jaw caused by the cross straps or what, but she was much less responsive than when we use a more simple rope nose style where thereā€™s nothing under her jaw. I highly recommend the weaver rope nose attachment which attaches to any bridle you already have in place of the bit-you just add a chin strap to the back & youā€™ve saved $50+ buying yet another bridle. This is the second bridle I got and the large size fits my 17 hands OTTB very well, while the medium fit well my younger OTTB. Both were received promptly and are extremely lovely quality. Soft leather, nicely padded, cone with matching reins and were very effective for sensitive OTTBs, one who was bit aversive and second who was head throwing and constantly wiggly. I have 2 of Dr. Cook's bitless bridles and this is sooo much nicer. The leather is soft and it is made so well that I am really impressed. And it came with reins so the price was really great. I love it and highly recommend it. Oh yeah, and I got it in 5 days!!! Fabulous!

We measured per the guidelines of this product and ordered accordingly. We ordered a medium because of the measurements. I thought this would work because currently my mare is in almost the smallest hole on all adjustments of her current bridle which is full size. Over all the leather quality is stiff and VERY bulky. I honestly donā€™t think itā€™s worth the money. The black bridle is pictured to show her fit in current bridle compared to the ordered one we are returning. ... show more
