Versatile
I use this bridle for trail riding. It’s works well for all my horses allowing me to be as soft as I can be, but have good brakes if needed. I don’t mind the single rein. I keep my hand low in general and I only need to lift up to halt. If you don’t have a secure hand, this bridle is not for you. I also don’t mind that it’s a curb chain rather than leather. All round good, inexpensive leather bridle. I just ordered a second one!

Good product but Item photo is misleading
I love this bridle! The headstall is great! The leather quality is pretty nice too. Not super heavy harness leather quality but also not cheap flimsy quality either. I bought this one for my best friend because she’s been using mine (exact same bridle) on her gelding recently. However, I only gave it 3 stars for the following reasons: -the picture shows split reins. It came with closed reins and they’re very short. It worked out bc this gelding is very short-necked and compact however these reins would never be long enough for my pleasure mare. There’s a HUGE difference in length between 6’ of a closed rein vs 2 6’ split reins! -the picture is a leather curb and it came with a chain curb strap. Also worked out bc we use the chain curb strap. -the bit is literal garbage. I would never ever use this kind of bit in my horses mouth. I immediately threw it away. So it’s kind of a waste of material. It’d be better to just be a little cheaper and not come with a bit at all.

Perfect fit
The reins were a great length. The quality seems sturdy. It was a perfect fit for my horse and you can't beat the price for what you get!

Well made but short reins
This bridle and bit is well made and fits my horse great. However the reins are extremely short, so I will have to purchase a new set of reins for this bridle.

Quality for the price
Good fit for a 14.2 hand horse, seems to be made of a quality material so it is a good value for the money.
