What my picture is showing is what you get. 119.95$ for a bridle without the bit part... I think the description is not clear at all, so be aware: you are not getting the bit you have to buy it apart. Now I'm stuck with this item I cannot use because it has no bite.     • Decent budget bridle
I ordered this in Cob size, but it was far too small for my horse that has always worn cob size, so sizes may not be true to size. However, the leather is very nice for this low of a price, as I have come to expect from Dover’s house brand. I do not like the web reins, but I was planning on switching them out with a nice leather pair anyways. Please disregard the laughable reviews of “no bit”, as any experienced equestrian can tell these customers have no experience buying any bridles outside of online, made-in-China brands that should not be purchased, let alone used, in the first place. I think some western bridles come with a bit, but never quality English brands. Manufacturer pictures usually show a bit to display the bridle in use, but bits are always sold separately. Great starter bridal! Comfortable for the horse! Nothing fancy but is a lot better then the weaver Bridal I purchased for over a $100, Weaver 1 was hard leather, not comfortable for a horse,.Dover was nicely padded, and leather was so much softer! The reigns themselves are not made of leather, more nylon, but I think I like them better then hard reins in my hand ... show more

This bridle is missing pieces and is not even remotely what is shown here. Unfortunately, I’m stuck with it. Buyer beware.

    • Cheap material, cheap reins, and it comes in pieces.
Bought this bridle a year ago and it broke, so i got another one. Got it in the mail and it was in pieces. It was not put together at all. The leather, or whatever material it is feels different than the last one and feels so cheap. It came in package all curled up with all the pieces not put together. I am not happy with this for the price. This should go for 30 buck at the most for what you get. BEWARE do not buy ... show more
