I've been wearing ratchet belts almost exclusively for years, but these are my first ratcheting web belts. Haven't had 'em long enough to give 'em 5 stars, but they have a quality feel. I bought X-small thinking that they be about right for my 30 inch waist, but the end extends past the buckle longer than I'd like. To cut it down the buckle has to be removed by removing two screws rather than just opening a clamp. Once the unwanted length is cut down, new holes for the screws need to be made in the webbing. I tried using a drill, which resulted in a frayed mess of a hole. Same result using a smooth hole punch. I think the solution will be something like a soldering iron to burn the holes without leaving them ragged. This is much more trouble than opening and closing a clamp. They seem like very good belts, but be ready to do a bit more work to cut them to fit. ... show more

He said their very comfortable (and that was a big concern for him) & he loves that he can pull them as tight or as loose as he wants them or needs them 😉 thank you! He's not always easy to please! These belts are well made and sturdy. They are easy to adjust, although, I found the location of the latch slightly awkward until I had used the belt a few times. Even after you put the belt on and they have latched, all you have to do is tug on the belt a bit and you tighten up to your desired snugness. I believe these two belts will be serviceable for a good long time! ... show more

I really like the 2 belts, the light grey color works well for a “casual” look and the black looks sharp for “dressed” up look! Ratchet belt lock secures better than conventional belts with no droopy overhang. Great value😎👍
