Sure this is listed sort of as a bridesmaid's dress and it would work perfectly for that also given that it comes in many colors. But it also happens to work for any other occasion that might be even just semi-formal which is what I wore it for and the fact that I can wear it like 20 plus different ways is awesome. It looks amazing on and I know that it would on anybody. The dress has quite a bit of a elasticity to it. However the fabric itself isn't particularly stretchy which I think is good. Just make sure that you know what size you need prior to ordering. While the fabric itself is quite thin it is not see-through it's really just an incredibly breathable fabric. Upon checking my sizing I got just about the perfect size but I did not account for the fact that I had actually lost a bit of weight so mine was just ever so slightly loose but not enough to make a difference. It did not have any kind of weird scent or smell to it In fact it just smelled brand new. You can wash it on a gentle cycle no bleach! And air dry definitely don't get it dry cleaned. Did I mention how many different ways you can wear those because I haven't even discovered the full gamut of what I could possibly do with it which is exciting because I freaking love this dress! Ever since years and years ago the multi-way to wear dresses came out I've wanted one they just have not been at all affordable until now and the quality of this dress is amazing and I couldn't be happier I highly recommend that everybody gets one and also they have a ton of colors so I mean just go pick a color get the right size you will be super super happy to have it You don't have to wear it all the time or you can, you can just hang it in your closet and anytime you have an occasion to do yourself a solid and wear it because you will get endless compliments. 100/10 easily in fact I would give it infinite stars if I could.

I love the way I wound up wearing it and added a cute chain skull belt along with an arm cuff and some other fun jewelry for my best friends’s wedding in Key West. I’m 59 130 to 135 pounds for a reference and I got a small. It was a perfect fit super comfortable all night!

I ordered this dress last minute for a professional function. In my great wisdom, I didn't even try it on until I was getting ready to leave the house - fortunately, it fit like a glove! I am 5'4 and it fit me PERFECTLY wearing sneakers. If you are any taller (or plan to wear heels) this might end up being too short for you! The only complaint I have about this dress is that you have to wear something under it or your will be nippling all over the place - since I didn't try it on and find that out earlier, I was substantially limited in the ways I could wear the dress to ensure that the wrapping covered my bra. I did end up safety pinning it in place in a few places. If I had done my research (or opened the package before putting it on my body and walking out the door) I could have used tape, petal covers, or even a strapless bra to expand those options. I am so glad this is the dress I ended up getting, and it is SUCH a steal for the price.

If you're trying to match Ink Blue (JJs House or Azazie) or Marine (Kennedy Blue) This color is a great cheaper alternative (Color listed here as Blue Gray). The material is not a matte jersey, there's a sliiiiight sheen to it which makes it look more luxe and appropriate for a fancier venue (can also still be casual but the material is very versatile). I bought a medium (36" bust, 30" waist, 41" hips) and the fit was flattering and size inclusive. I likely could have equally fit the small and the large but the elastic band was a good fit worn either on my natural waist or pulled up to an empire under my bust. I'm 5'5.5 (5'6) and the length went to my feet. This means it'd be great with heels and still wearable barefoot for a beach wedding or dance floor. Last note, while the fabric feels perfectly thick, you may want a bra or at least nip covers. I'm a 34 D and wouldn't be able to go without something covering the gals infront of a room full of people. It DOES come with a separate bandeau top for more modest variations but I've never been a fan of them.

I ordered this dress in white for my teen’s Greek themed event at school. It arrived quickly and appears to be acceptable quality, but the stench has made me ill. As soon as I opened the package, this awful fragrance hit me in the face. It stunk up my living room, would not wash off my hands, and even stunk up my garage when I threw the package away. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say the manufacturer was trying to harm people! The dress also had brown-toned makeup smeared along the waistline. It’s possible the smell came from someone’s home who purchased the dress and returned it. I can’t imagine someone’s home smelling so toxic though. (Shame on Amazon for not ensuring the hygiene of returned products if that’s what happened.) The event is in a few days and I don’t have time to return the dress. I’m going to sanitize it and hope for the best. Fragrances such as the one that’s on this dress are endocrine disrupters. I cannot believe how sick this product has made in just a few minutes of being exposed to it. Buyer beware! Update: I tried everything and the smell has not come out of the dress. I tried washing it on the sanitize cycle multiple times, soaking overnight in an enzyme detergent, tried baking soda, lavender essential oils on dryer balls, and more washing. Whatever room it’s hanging in inevitably ends up smelling like the dress. The smell is 10x stronger when it’s wet. It even left the smell behind in my washer and dryer! I have never ever ever purchased such a bizarre product. It’s not like me to return a clothing item I’ve washed, but I’m going to attempt to return this one. It is an absolutely toxic product and, therefore, defective.
