Love the color. Not only can you remove the neck covering (snaps) and face covering (I guess that's what the other flap is?), you can also unzip the top and have a plain visor. Velcro closure has an opening so your ponytail can stick out.

The hat works great for blocking the sun but could use a couple of improvements. I am not fond of the fact that the visor portion comes halfway down your ears and the mask part fits too tight. It would be nice if the mask part was adjustable to fit all face sizes.

This both is and was the best hat I ever bought in my life. Seriously! It fits and feels perfect. I absolutely love everything about this hat. It's the right size, both as far as the fit on my head, and the width, length of visor and the back cloth covering, "hat cape" lol for lack of better wording. I wish I would have had this growing up and I would go fishing with my dad. Anyway I love it the "BUT" comes in with the a couple of the snaps. Simply by wearing it and trying to reposition the face covering while showing my husband the seam by the snaps for the face covering simply ripped, tore, came apart however you want to word it. I was truly sad about because I simply love love love it and was so looking forward to using it while doing yard work and building my garden. Yeah, that's right I never even wore it yet, just opened the bag and tried it on and excitedly went in the kitchen to so my husband and "POOF" that quick it tore. I want to get another one but I'm afraid it may tear also. Would love a replacement if at all possible. But other than that I do love the hat. (Haha that sounded like someone out of a Dr Seuss book. It rhymes.. lol sorry, but it was funny. ... show more
