Wow! I needed a heavy coat for a trip to NYC in January. This one was perfect! I never once got cold wearing this coat! It’s fleece lined on the inside, so I was roasty toasty when I wore it! It is also somewhat water resistant, which was great because it snowed while we were there. The melting snow never saturated through. This coat has a nice weight to it and was very comfortable! Perfect winter jacket! I purchased this for a trip to Alaska where we would be spending some time outdoors in 1 hour increments often. Overall the weather was anywhere between 30 degrees to -10 below and I mostly only had a regular long sleeved shirt, sometimes a hoodie over it, with this jacket. If I was going to spend longer amounts of time this jacket would have been perfect to add thicker layers. It never felt too bulky at all, great fit and came down to mid-thigh. I am 5'0 and 118 lbs and the Small fit perfectly. The outer pockets helped but I do wish there was an inner pocket as well. I used the hood often when it was -10 and we were outside and it kept the cold and wind out very well. Overall I loved this jacket and really happy with my purchase. The Zipper is a quality zipper. It's very warm and comfortable. I think it runs Small, because I ordered a 2x at first. Usually fits and some are big, but I had to return and get a 3x. Fits perfect. Except the hood. It's a little big for my head but if you wear a thick beanie or hat, it'll be fine. I would recommend this Winter jacket for everyone! Plus, paid an awesome price. I love this coat. My old winter coat's zipper broke and I was in a panic. Where was I going to find a warm winter coat this late in the season? Lo and behold.....Amazon. This coat is so warm and cozy. I was so surprised by how much I love this coat because it was so cheap. I really thought I would be sending it back. I wore it in rain and snow and it has kept me warm and dry. I highly recommend. It has 2 deep pockets that easily holds my phone. I purchased this black coat in medium and for reference, I am 5'5, 136 lbs and the medium is roomy enough that if needed I could wear a heavy sweater underneath. I really liked this jacket. The hood is removable and the fur trim is removable too. People literally thought I'd purchased a new coat when I put the hood and fur trim on. The coat is stylish and comfy. It definitely kept me warm in the NC winter without me looking like the Michelin Man. I also appreciate that the coat can be dressed up of down to go from day to night.
