These are the cutest bathing suit shorts!! I wanted something to cover up a bit more but that were still cute and flattering. These definitely check all the boxes. High waisted, they cover up my muffin top and are so comfortable. The ties down the sides add a nice touch and allow for more style and sexiness, as opposed to just a regular short. I wore them all day at a waterpark and they didn't ride up at all. For size reference, I'm 5'6" and about 140 pounds, size 5 in pants. I ordered a medium and they fit well. I had to tie the sides a bit tighter than the picture shows, as they were a little loose. A small probably would've fit also but they might've been a little tight at the top. ... show more

These fit so well and are so cute. I'm typically about a size 8 (5'5, 135-140lbs, 34B), ALWAYS bigger on bottom than top, so can't ever get a 2-piece where both pieces fit. These shorts are super comfortable, flattering, and well made. I love how much you can adjust the length also. These swim bottoms in the ad online look marvelous. One caveat: The side drawstrings need to be cinched and double knotted if you doing more intensive exercise in water aerobics classes. Leg bottoms may open a bit if not secured. The liner and fabric are of quality material and the coverage; both front and rear, are very adequate, just as advertised. Swimming gentle freestyle laps posed no problems. Tanning, wading, posing, pier hanging and beachcombing are prime activities for this swim short. ... show more

These swim shorts are comfortable and very flattering. I have them in purple and black. I usually wear an XL, I ordered an XL and they fit great. Nice interior lining and very soft fabric.

*Update* Wore this several times snorkeling in Florida and had no issues. Still fit perfectly and stayed on even when diving deeper. Material seemed like good quality swim fabric. Snug enough to stay on while swimming, but loose enough to still feel comfortable. Highly recommend. *Original* Received this today, fits great! After reading reviews and looking at their sizing, I ended up getting the XL. For reference, I'm 5'6" and am currently sitting at around 185lbs. As I said, I just received this today, so haven't had a chance to test it out in the water, but am going to the beach for swimming and snorkeling in a couple weeks, so if I remember, I'll update more after that. For now, the fit seems perfect. Also, if you're like me and wonder if it still fits well throughout different phases of the day, not just when you're "morning skinny" 🙈, then the answer is yes, it does. The length is perfect. The sides make it so cute and not so grandma. They are great for float trips and active beach days. But there is no tummy control. The high waist was to tall for my Short body. They come over my waist and belly button. I could have sized down and it probably would help some. I wear them with a tank top when I go canoeing and they are perfect. I am not much for canoeing in a bikini. I like a little coverage and when we get out to go hike I don’t have to find shorts in the dry bag. I also wear them on the lake.
