Is this bag inexpensive? Yes. Is it the highest quality bag you can buy? Obviously not. But it’s a great bag for the price point. It’s roomy, versatile, and holds up pretty damn good to a lot of use. I bought 4 of these bags about 2 years ago in different colors and I’ve used them all in rotation consistently during those two years. I’ve stuffed them full to overflowing with all the crap you usually put in a bag and then some. Big wallets, small wallets, makeup and grooming supplies, books, laptop, tablet, phones, charging bricks and other electronic equipment plus all the power cords, knitting, bills, toys, beach supplies, snacks, extra clothes and miscellaneous junk that I might need but never actually use. And they’ve all held up to everything incredibly well for a $16 bag. I’m here because I just bought another one and I wanted others to know that this is a nice bag for the price. I have a number of higher quality bags, but I always go back to using these because they look good with everything, are easy to carry, work best for all my needs and the price can’t be beat. I highly recommend getting a purse organizer insert in a size large to use with these bags. I have had one for a few months now and it makes switching purses a breeze. They keep all my thingamabobs organized and when I want to change my purse to match my outfit, I just grab the little handles, lift everything out in one swoop and plop it into the new bag. Update: I bought this a while ago when I was interviewing, and had never used it for work until this week. It holds much more than I would have guessed and looks more professional than my usual canvas bag. Surprisingly it fit everything, including glasses, box of allergy pills, a zillion pencils and pens, tissues, wallet, phone, keys, other random bits and bobs, and a freezie meal for lunch. I had to carry my water bottle but that's fine. Original review: I don't know why, since I did check the measurements, but I was visualizing something bigger. This could pass for a large purse. The compact size is more streamlined, and it's exactly what I needed to carry the basics like padfolio, wallet, phone etc. for job interviews (could also fit a laptop). If that's what you need, you're set - it's minimalist and good for when you want to look polished. I just wouldn't get this expecting to use it for the gym or a weekend trip. It's not that kind of tote. Another reviewer said the faux pebbled leather texture looked the highest quality, so that's what I chose. I'm grateful for their insight and totally agree. I was nervous it would look super cheapo, given the very low price, but in person it looks much more expensive than it is. (Love it when that happens!) The construction quality is impressive, and despite arriving folded, it doesn't have any creasing. One major benefit to buying here vs. in a store is that instead of being limited to the standard black or random neutrals, they have a zillion colors and textures, so you can get a few and switch them out. It's an interesting design - narrower at the top but then has a flat bottom with more space. There's also a pocket inside. It comes with a decorative tassel to jazz it up, and a surprisingly cute and versatile strip of scarf they include as an option. I purchased the wine red one to add a pop of color to my outfits and it is super pretty. I’m hoping it last a while, but it’s maybe not the best quality which is expected because of the price. This is a great little tote that I use as a shopping bag for items that I pick up on the way home from work. I like that it's a shoulder bag, which leaves my hands free on the subway and bus. Good size and I love the olive-green color. Material looks and feels just like leather.

I am purchasing my third bag, I have had this in black, brown, and now bronze. I have bought one very 2 years or so. I have a purse divider that I put in it, to make it more organized. I like the quality pretty great for the price. They hold up pretty well I have used them for an everyday purse/ diaper bag/ laptop bags. It can hold my MacBook, a large iPad, notebook, phone, pens and a makeup bag. The only wear and tear I have experienced it the handles begin to peel but that is usually around the 2 year mark and it is barely noticeable especially on the colors I have had in the past. ... show more
