...these shorts didn't work out for me, I wanted to give them a shout-out for being special. I've been on the hunt for denim shorts and I've tried innumerable brands and styles. I'm still searching for personal perfection (almost there!) but these shorts came very close. It isn't their fault I'm a midget. At 5'2", I'm about 1" too short to wear these properly. I tried to roll them up one more time to compensate for my altitudinal challenges, but they didn't lay flat and looked kinda silly. I wanted to cry because these shorts are so different from 90% of what I've seen and I loved them otherwise! Why are they different? These shorts aren't cut for Kim Kardashian; they're cut the opposite, with the generosity in front! I adore that because there is no junk in my trunk whatsoever. I'm all about the treble, baby! Most of these stretchy shorts are the complete opposite of me, they have tiny waists coupled with giant asses and leg openings. My 44" hips match my 40D chest, so I look hourglassy from the front and back, but my stomach sticks out more than my behind, and my legs aren't thick. I can't tell you how many pairs of shorts I've returned because they managed to fit my waist and stomach, but they were too long or too wide everywhere else and they swam on me. I don't want to look like I'm wearing Mommy's shorts or somebody stuck toothpicks into a Snowball! These shorts were the first to fit properly everywhere, with even a bit of room to spare, while the bottom of the legs fit to mine. I listened to previous reviewers who advised not to size up. My hips are literally right between 14 and 16. I chose 14 and salute those ladies because they were spot on! The material is both cut right and very stretchy. If only I were 5'3" instead of 5'2", I would be writing a very different outcome! Laeyzuo, please consider making shorts in more styles using the same formula. This is nowhere near enough, and I really want to wear you! :)

I love these shorts. They are stretchy so go a size down. I never had to to tug them down..if you know you know..lol.. they were so comfortable. The waistband felt comfortable enough to wear a belt with. I'm definitely ordering again!!!
