I purchased this on the fly, I have a wedding to attend and it's just to hot to shop in the malls. I am a quilter and a sewer so I know the difference between garments and fabrics. This Kaftan is beautiful with the print, it is a good fit, not tight at all but that would depend on your size. I'm a size 1x and it feels comfortable and roomey. slenderizing which makes a difference. The seams are all finished with a Serger which is ok but no one is going to check. The fabric is Rayon which is very flowing lite. Im happy with the purchase.

This kaftan is AMAZING! If you have sensitive skin, the 100% rayon fabric will be a dream...even if you suffer from allodynia. High quality fabric and stitching. I intend to buy more. Price vs. Quality is out of this world!!! And, to boot, the overall effect is absolutely beautiful. 10 outta 10!!! I was not paid for this review.

Comfortable but poor quality

I love this, but it’s really poor quality. Super comfortable and cooling, it’s flattering and makes summer bearable. It’s a great length (I’m 5’2”) and fun pattern. But the stitching is terrible and constantly rips. The slits at the sides started out halfway up my calf, and have now reached up to my waist in just a few weeks of sitting around the house. The arm holes have ripped as well, so it’s essentially just open at the sides. I’m planning on re-sewing it but it’s annoying to feel like I’m wearing something as fragile as a napkin that could rip at any moment.

Snug fit, nice fabric, Comfy.

Overall, a nice pullover dress/loungewear. I needed something to pull on easily, & allow freedom of movement. This fit the bill, & while the other prints were too over the top for my taste, this Black & White Vertical striped one is the least 'in your face' option I found. FIT: * Torso Fit: I'm a 50" bust, with 49" hips. No issue in the bust fitting, but snugger than I'd like in the hips - especially when seated. * Length is good on me (I'm 5'5" tall, & it hangs to just above my feet.) * Shoulder width is 37" from side to side, & just barely covers my elbows. Unlike the model, who shows it 1/2 way to her wrists, so She must be tiny. * This is a single width piece of fabric, so while the bust has some wiggle room - due to the arms not being fitted, the hip area is limited by the stitching down the sides. There's a 5" seam on each side, for a 10" reduction in that 37" width, which makes the hip & belly dimension 54" at the maximum - glued to you fit. Sitting down, increases whatever dimensions you are, so know that you should spare yourself some agony, and find another dress, if you're more than 50" at the hip, and still want to be able to sit down. (I can get away with it, but it's close). * In the envelope I got, it appeared to be kinda transparent on the white, but once I got it out, and washed it, I no longer feel like you're seeing through it. (I'm wearing a navy blue cami under it, & you can't see that in the pics.) PROS: * Fabric is called Viscose (AKA - Rayon), which has a very nice feel, & drapes very well. * Washes in the regular laundry, & dries in the dryer. (I pulled mine after 15 min, then hung it, to spare wrinkles.) * Checked - no damages from doing 1st laundry. All is well. Time will tell about longevity. * Color seems to be true to the images. Mine is Black & White - which should be easy, but I sent a dress back recently, because the white part was a dingy gray, instead of white. This one is actually white. Yay! CONS: * Not in love with the side slits, that extend well above my knees. * No Pockets. They don't say there is, & I didn't expect any, but just sayin - I'd like some. * Viscose/Rayon washes & Dries well, but if you sit, there will be wrinkles in the areas that get folds, like the crotch area. Nothing to be done about it, but choose your pattern to help hide the wrinkles if you can, as they don't hang out immediately, once you stand up. * I sew, so I'm likely to let out the side seams a bit, and extend it lower on my legs. If you don't sew, you're gonna be stuck with the seams they put in. Just be aware of the fit, which is not nearly as billowing as that skinny model they're showing it on, unless you too are a tiny, slender woman. Overall, Fabric is nice, Pattern is loud, but acceptable, and fit is Snug for the larger ladies, but fine for the skinny girls. Rayon seems like it's too thin, and likely to tear, but I've got rayon skirts I've worn for eons, and wash regularly, without any issues from tearing or wear.
