  • Possibly the worst pair imagine
Bought these in July 2010. It was the worst pair of work boots I’ve ever own. Ive worn these while working in; warehouse, attic crawl space, working in the yard, construction site, you get the idea. I’ve put these babies through a lot. The stitch is holding quite well. I’m still wearing them as I’m finally looking for a replacement. Look no further I keep telling myself. The boots are very comfortable and works as expected. All I had to do was purchase special arch support in soles. Other than that, these are the best boots. Does a really good job keeping water out. I’ve worked in construction sites and since I haven’t truly experience a nail puncture perhaps it’s because it just prevented it without my awareness, these babies protected me for years. Buy them, don’t wait. As for maintenance, I’ve hosed it down and I always take the in soles out to air dry the interior. Never had any issues. What these boots been through: I was in the construction remodeling business, done a lot of personal DIY projects, crawled in the attic many times, worked in the warehouse, running various network and electrical cables, tons of yard renovation projects, a full house renovation down to the studs, plumbing, you get the idea... Gosh, I was really hoping these would last forever. What is forever? ... show more

  • Easy on the feet
I've had these boots for over a month now and I am really liking how they fit and don't put a lot of stress on my feet like other safety boots tend to do. As for durability, I can't speak much on that other than they are still in pretty good shape after a month. The composite toe is not overly large and does not bite into your feet when you are crouching. My only complaint is that I got the composite toe so I would not get a false positive when going through metal detectors. Unfortunately, the hooks at the top of the boot for the laces have metal rivets holding the plastic hooks in place. ... show more

  • I've been wearing them a month now averaging 12 hours in them and they are comfortable for the job that I do that requires I ...
The boot is heavier than my other Wolverine boot I've owned with the steel toe. As other reviewers have stated it runs large, I wear an 11 but purchased a 10.5. The 11 size made my heel slip in it when I tried it on at Work Wear. The composite toe is a little tighter than the steel toe as well. I've been wearing them a month now averaging 12 hours in them and they are comfortable for the job that I do that requires I use a safety shoe in our production area. They do not ventilate so my feet are sweaty at the end of the day.The price I paid on Amazon was way less than the price at the Work Wear store so no-brainer there. The EPX technology does make a difference in this boot as my previous boots from Wolverine did not have it. My feet are not as tired at the end of my work day, I sometimes wear them away from work because in my opinion they go good with jeans and khakis, plus they're water proof. Over all satisfied with them hope this helps. ... show more

  • Decent, but quality lacks for the cost!
Good for the first few months. I have had the soles fall apart on one pair in the first 3 months. If your heavy like myself, start looking for a new pair after 6 months. I have yet to find a boot that holds up to my weight (250lbs +).

  • Failed bonding of uppers and lowers. Hard pass!!!
These boots are an epic fail!!! Although comfortable, they are not built to last. Owned boots for less than 45 days and only wore them maybe 10 times in casual use. (Yard work, trail walking, motorcycle riding) The outsoles of both boots has already separated from the uppers. I was literally just walking in the park with my son, not doing anything extreme, never even got the shoes wet or muddy. I don't know how anyone could use these as legitimate work boots. The lowers and uppers are glued on instead of being stitched. They will come apart on you. Luckily this happened to me during the return window and I'll be able to get my money back. Stay away from these if you need reliable work boots because these will let you down just taking a walk in the park. ... show more

  • Overall a Good Choice
I got these boots to replace a pair of Wolverine (Buffalo 6") steel toe boots that I have had and loved for about 5 years. I had hoped these would be good replacements; that they would be good boots for the Summer. So far I would say they are quite comfortable but maybe not as comfortable as my previous boots. They don't seem to breath as well. At the end of the day I am ready to get them off. However they are light, water-proof and provide good slip resistance and I like the way they look. I went down a size from my previous boot (from size 11 to 10-1/2) which is what I normally wear. ... show more

  • Very fast delivery
Very comfortable. Ordered one, was too small, returned and requested a larger size. The second one arrived to my doorstep before they even picked up the first one!
