I bought these for winter work boots. The new boots have a smaller outside profile than my old pair of W olverines, but are the same size inside. I guess it is glued construction rather than traditional sewn welt. Too early to know how well they will hold up

Being from Michigan I have worn my share of Wolverines. The company started in Michigan so many stores carried them. Sadly, these were made in India but they are very comfortable, durable, and the durashock system works better than any other work boot. They keep my feet warm, even in winter temperatures, so much that I have to loosen the top laces to let heat out! I picked these up at 1/2 price from guess who??? Amazon of course. I highly recommend these, do your feet a favor and get them.

The fit is accurate, the water proofing is effective, the crafting is good, so why no 5th star? These are basically tall shoes. I do miss my old Timber Pros, but so don't lotsa other folks miss theirs.

These boots are the most comfortable I've ever owned. Fairly light weight for an 8 inch work boot. I've had mine for almost 3 years and no issues whatsoever. I don't use them everyday day but on weekends they are the only footgear I wear whether I'm working outdoors or just hanging around in the house.

For years I only wore the Volverine Durashock Trapeurs. Now no longer available had to make a monumental change (Not easy at 71) to the alternative boot. Must say I’m totally satisfied with the boot but still holding a grudge having to make a change!🤷♂️
