I ordered this bag for my 10 year old son who plays lacrosse and he really enjoys it. He's able to fit his chest pad, elbow pads, and gloves in the large open area along with his helmet. Shoes fit securely in the bottom. I prefer a drawstring for the stick holders as opposed to the velcro but that wasn't a deal breaker. They seem to hold the sticks securely. He uses one strap to attach his helmet on the outside of the bag which works well. The way they are positioned, it's sometimes difficult to latch both because you have to reach inside the helmet. Also, when you use both straps to attach the helmet, it block access to the sticks and zippered pouches. I can't speak to the durability of the bag, but overall I am happy with the purchase.

Nice quality, but too big for the average woman and definitely too big for juniors or kids. that is, the shoulder straps are comfortable regardless of your size, but the distances between the shoulder straps, breast strap, and hip straps are a bit too far for me to make much use from the latter. The construction is great, though. There's a place for everything! I can fit a pair of cleats plus an extra pair of recovery sandals in the bottom pocket (clearly made for Shaq's giant shoes, LOL). I deducted a star because while the product page gives dimensions, the photo with the adults wearing the backpacks is misleading. Go by the measurements if you are unsure this XL backpack will fit you.

The media could not be loaded. Our last lacrosse bag was smaller and easier to carry but we either couldn’t get everything in or had to shove it in. While this is bigger than a normal backpack it is really nice because it fits all the lacrosse gear including the pads. I feel like some of the other backpacks marketed for lacrosse are just basketball or soccer bags with velcro to hold the sticks. This bag was truly given thought to make sure it can hold all the pads. Definitely recommend!
