I bought this to redirect inappropriate chewing in my 6-month old kittens who are teething. They will chew on the sticks and seem to really like them, but it's only if someone intervenes to try to encourage that. They will not really pick them up off the floor on their own. It seems to work the best if someone holds a stick firmly and gives them something to really yank around.

My cat gave zero fluffs about this product. I thought the small one would give it a chance and take at least take slight interest because he’s such a chewer, but absolutely nothing. You would think my paint brushes hold higher chew interest than these sticks which is rather unfortunate since that’s why I purchased these. I don’t think it’s necessarily the product, I think my cats are just defiant and would prefer damaging my hopes and dreams over ever using a product purchased for them. I’m leaving a middle ground review because outside of batting sticks there’s zero interest from either cat.

I wasn't impressed at first. I broke a stick in half and put it in a favorite laying spot. It just wasn't very interesting for a couple days. I put it in a handy box, and one day my less demonstative cat (Miss I Don' Like NUTHIN') just plain attacked it. Been a favorite since. They act just like they grabbed a big hit of the finest catnip. They taught the dogs to split the stick for them. Both redneck pooty tats look like they're chewing a toothpick now. Your cats may not be the partiers mine are, but this stuff is working out around here.

So have tried a number of Cat Chew Toys over the years for kittens. My cats have never used chew toys like I wanted. But I had not seen these before, so gave it a try. For MY CAT, they did not work...cause he didn't chew it. But I am giving this product a 3 star because there is nothing inherently wrong with these in terms of quality and price. And as a buyer you have to be realistic about things like these potentially being a flop with some cats. Doesn't mean the product is bad I guess.
