The bag seems well made but did not come with the free gifts that was listed. The first one came with a carabiner clip and the dumb whistle, NO PATCH which is all I cared about to cover Empty velcro patch area. The second one only came with the odd whistle. Probably wouldn't buy again and for the price will probably send both back. ... show more

Very nice backpack. In fact, mine even came with two pairs of socks! Because it was used. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, I received a previously owned/used backpack after ordering a new one. And the socks don't fit.

    • Not just for men
I liked the weight of the backpack and on a fully loaded test run I didn't notice any excess strain. It took me a minute to adjust the straps to my specifications but nothing about the pack felt cheap or flimsy. I look forward to giving it a good road test. Just a bit of background I am a 5'5 woman.
