Do not have anything else to compare this to, this is the first time I have ordered one of these. Quality seems great, my only concern is will my phone heat up in the sun, there really isn't anything protecting it from direct sun light.

I bought a new bike recently and purchased a phone holder at the bike shop. After using it a couple time, I find it to be annoying as the fastener that tighten the side bracket holding the phone rattles excessively. I also dislike the fact that I have to "tighten" the fastener to secure the phone in place. It also offers no protection from the elements. I was excited to find this phone holder and pouch. It has a super fast installation via velcors and is quiet!! The phone touchscreen can be used with the clear vinyl-like cover, the material feels thick and durable, and I love that fact that there is room for a wallet and some gum in the bottom compartment.

I have a road bike with a horizontal top tube. The bag is spacious, but impinges on my junk when I stand straddling the bike. This might be a better design for an angled top tube. The waterproof zipper is also a bit hard to manipulate.
