I absolutely cannot fault the quality of this wok spatula. It's by far the best-made I've seen anywhere, with a well-shaped head, and a 100% stainless handle that doesn;t get hot AND doesn't melt the first time it touches the edge of the wok. I've already put one of the existing two previous spatulas I already had in the Goodwill pile, and I'm considering doing so with the second. (I'll admit I did just run a fine metal file lightly over the leading edge to round it off a little.) Now, that said, I found the angle between the head and handle a little too acute for my taste. You may disagree, and in any case it's easy to change that angle by heating the shaft with a torch just behind the head to an orange glow and bending it a little straighter. You of course might not want to do that, depending how comfortable you are working metal. But then, it might work just fine for you as it is. ... show more

I’m a wok-ahlic, stir frying fiend. In the last 15 years I’ve seasoned/used over 30 different woks, along with a dozen or so wok spatulas: stainless, carbon steel, bamboo, wood handles, plastic handles, metal handles… And this wok spatula is the best I’ve used, and my favorite by far. It has the perfect size shovel end—not too big, not too small. And it has a perfect weight—its handle is not hallow! It has a bit—the perfect amount—of weight. Its operation is smooth and effective in all my woks, from round bottom to flat bottom to very wide flat bottom. This spatula smoothly makes high heat stir frying seem almost natural, effortless. It’s no issue for me, but some with experience might find the shovel end too shallow as its sides only have very slight curves upward, so it doesn’t hold as much food as more traditional wok spatulas (most wok spatulas, particularly from China, have more shovel like spoon ends with high sides and therefore hold a generous amount of food when shoveling out of the wok).
