I have a full size press but don't always want to pull it out so I figured I'd give this a try. Definitely more than an iron, this small compact heat press made my vinyl and press on projects a breeze. This was great to use for smaller projects, has great performance for the money. Fits conveniently in small spaces so good if you have a lot of existing tools and don't have much space. Would definitely recommend this for any crafter.

i've been staying home now since i'm on maternity leave and so i've found a creative outlet in making shirts. this items works well, it heats as its expected. hard to judge this item on its own merits because to make designs on shirts requires other materials. but I believe this heat pressed does what it needs to do and does it well.

This mini heat press is good for quick and small jobs. I wouldn’t use this to run a large scale tshirt making business but for small jobs it will do the trick. Not the hottest heat press out there but with patience you can accomplish your smaller scale project. It’s small, so you could travel with this if necessary.

I have heard bad things about inexpensive heat presses, so naturally I was skeptical about this one. I don't use a heat press enough to invest a lot of money into a big one, so I ordered this one. Of course, because of the size, you'll need to press in smaller sections to apply a large design. That can be time consuming, but that's what you're in for with such a small press. This one comes with a stand to lay it on while it's hot. You have 3 heat settings. I read over the manual and didn't see any mention about how hot each setting is, so I wasn't able to accurately choose the right heat setting for my vinyl. That's my only complaint so far. The manual did suggest medium heat for 30 seconds for glitter HTV. Since that's what I was using, that's what I set it on. It beeps when it's done heating up, but if you miss the beep, the lights turn green when it's fully heated. If the temperature is still setting, whether your decreasing or increasing the temperature, the lights will be red. I've used other heat presses before so I know to first apply the heat long enough to peel off the plastic backing from the design, then use parchment paper and press the design again to seal it on. I set a 30 second stop watch on my phone and pressed each section of the design for 30 seconds each. I tried to peel off the backing slowly. There were a few places where I needed to press it again to get the vinyl to adhere. Once all the plastic was removed, I laid a piece if parchment over my design and pressed each section again for another 30 seconds to fully seal the design on. I did front and back of my shirt. All together it took about 15 minutes and my design looks well set. I'll reevaluate once I have time to wear the shirt and wash it a few times, but it appears to be sealed on very well. For a small, inexpensive heat press, I'm happy with the results.

I look at a few iron and I thought they were all they same. This one works only half the time. I'll plug it in and it will start beeping and not stop until I unplug it. It does that half the time I try to use it. When I get it working it doesn't heat even and messed up some projects.
