  • Works well. No timer and temp modes are not mentioned in the manual.
Review of Woflend Mini Heat Press -7" x 3.8" Heat Transfer Machine, Small Portable Iron Press, Insulated Safety Base, Easy to Use for T Shirts, Bags, Heating Transfer Projects (Blue) First thing you need to know is the manual does mention the three heating modes, but it does not tell you what they are. The three heating modes are: 275℉(135℃), 320℉(160℃), 356℉(180 ℃). They are mentioned in the Amazon description, so copy them down and clip them to the manual, or write them in. These are fairly common temps, so you may not need to, but sometimes it does matter. I tested the device with the medium temp setting and checked the temp with an IR thermometer. It was very close to 320 (about 317.8 when heated up) so that is reasonably close. I used that setting for 30 seconds to adhere some HTV vinyl to a cotton canvas bag. I let it cool for a minute or so then pulled the carrier sheet and it worked great. Another thing to mention is that this device does not have a timer function. I have a kitchen timer that I timed it with. If this is a critical item for you, look at another model. The device does keep track of use and will turn off after 10 minutes according to the manual if the device is not used. It senses motion and if there is no motion within the time, it shuts down. I have a similar sized heat press that does have a built-in timer, but it also uses vibration that cannot be shut down, so I got this model which does not have vibration, but also does not have a timer. Heat up was quick enough, it alerts you it is ready with a sound and the lights change color. Setting the temp is simple and, as I said, it seems to be fairly accurate within a few degrees. It seems well made and solid. The insulated support is quite nice and it comes with a few iron on letter and a nonstick heating sheet to place between the iron and the vinyl. Not bad at all, works well for price. ... show more

  • Convenient heat press for Cricut or other crafting
The usual options for a heat press are heavy-duty presses, which are bulky, heavy, and expensive, or a clothes iron which awkward at best being used for something other than what it was designed to do. This heat press fills that niche being taken by the clothes iron, but specialty built for the purpose of a heat press. It's quite small at approximately 7" x 4", so if your needs are for a larger surface area than this, you would want a bigger press. But at this size you can do a variety of heat transfers without consuming a ton of space, and it's easy to transport or store away. I guess in a pinch you could also use it as an iron, but I haven't tried that. ... show more

  • Great
This works great! It’s a nice small heat press. Takes up about as much space as an iron. But it is flat for you to do any of your vinyl work. I really like this, especially for the size. I actually went from a professional heat press to this. Mainly for the size. The professional heat press is just so big and bulky and not easy to work with. However, this little guy does the trick just as well but with less space. Very happy with this product. It’s also not very easy to burn yourself. ... show more

  • Compact and portable for specific uses
I am reviewing the product "Woflend Mini Heat Press" on 4 January, 2024. The Wolfend Mini Heat Press is a task-specific tool useful for affixing iron-on transfers to clothing, or otherwise applying localized heat to other work, freeing the user of the need to break out the clothes iron. I applied the heat press to a specific and unusual use case -- flattening out of wrinkled audio tape to aid in winding it back onto a spool. For this purpose, the press performs admirably, distributing heat evenly over a smooth surface. It is compact and portable, and easy to set up and use. The stand portion is very welcome also, providing a compatible surface on which the work can rest while the heat is applied. It heats up quickly, has a safety auto-shutoff feature, and clear indicators of the selected heat level, and when it has reached its tatget temperature. More common use would be for the application of iron-on indicia to clothing items, and, in fact, the press comes with a starter set of iron-on letters for this purpose. Although I did not test this application, I can see where it would be beneficial for this, especially considering its compact size. Then again, it doesn't do anything that a regular iron can't, so it may be overkill for occasional needs. If you do a lot of iron-ons (or are into flattening audio tapes) this model could usefully serve as a conveniently portable and well-designed alternative to steam irons. Its use cases are fairly narrow, but if you need it, this model would serve you well. ... show more
