let's be honest - this grinder (and this style of grinder) is for grinding marijuana, and needs to be small to fit in your pocket. It may do that job well. I bought this to grind fresh rosemary, which i find to be a pain in the @ss to chop with a knife. This did grind up fresh rosemary...the problem is size. this grinder is tiny. fresh rosemary is not as strong as dried rosemary in food, so you have to use quite a bit more for the same level of flavor. Because the screen is not removable (without removing that entire ring of the grinder) , you are restricted by how much you can actually grind before you empty it. i would say that the screen not being removable reduces storage capacity by at least half. ... show more
