I ordered this mold to make treats for my son’s 2nd birthday. While I haven’t used it yet, I can say that it’s exactly as pictured, it feels a little thin, but not as thin as other molds I have. Overall, I like the feel of the number mold. I will say from experience with other molds that you should always use a cookie sheet or sturdy dish when transferring the mold into the refrigerator or freezer, this will hold it steady and also, take your time removing the chocolate or whatever you’re molding so that it doesn’t break. This is always a possibility regardless of the mold. I will do a practice run in the coming weeks with the mold and I’ll update with photos. From what I see, I like this mold and I’d recommend it. I love the size of the numbers and the smooth shape. Other molds have flower designs and other things, which is not what I wanted. I also purchased this because the price was less than $8. I had it in my cart and as soon as I saw the price drop, I ordered.

Was so excited to use the mold when I got it that I didn’t think to check every letter before using. Went to start my second round and discovered that Z is not all there, so that’s frustrating from a QA/QC standpoint. Otherwise it performs as expected, so generally happy with my purchase. (Just hoping I don’t have many Z names come up in my adventures.)

I like the way they turned out! The letters are very deep so I broke the crayons and stood them up. 275 degrees for about 15 minutes. Took them out, stirred the bubbles out, and added more crayon pieces to the ones that looked low. I let them cool overnight. Some were tougher to get out, but none of them broke - probably because they are so thick. I don’t think I’ll be making these as gifts for my 30+ students because they do take a while and use a LOT of crayons. I’ve only made one batch so I can’t say how the mold will hold up.

We used this mold to make alphabet crayons and fell in love with how cute they turned out! Each crayon was approximately 1” thick and they are sooo sturdy because of how thick the letters are. This makes such a fun project to do with kids - pick different colors and melt them together and then unveil what each letter looks like once hardened. So fun!
